Albany House Surgery
Our family have always received expert care from the GPs at Albany House Surgery. Their diagnostic skills and caring attitudes are outstanding. My wife and I are indebted to them for early diagnosis of serious conditions and arranging prompt escalation to expert consultants. Appointments can be by telephone call or face to face and may be booked by calling at 8:30 a.m. prompt. The queue on this appointments line is a measure of the popularity of this surgery and the reception staff have always done their best to help us navigate the complexities of NHS services.

Rang the surgery to request a routine appointment I was asked to ring back the next day as no appointments were left, rang next morning after holding for 1hr 10mins. I was informed no appointments available, I was asked to ring again 2 days later as more doctors available, but after waiting an hour I was informed again no appointments left. When asked how do I get a rohti e appointment iwS told to ring again. I requested to speak to someone higher than the office Team leader she said she will get one of the surgery doctors in charge to ri g this was 5 days ago as yet no one has rang. I have been with this surgery for 40years and the service has never been so awful.

I cannot recommend Albany House Surgery highly enough! From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted by friendly, welcoming staff who made me feel at ease. The surgery is clean, modern and well-equipped, and the doctors and nurses are incredibly knowledgeable, professional and caring.Every time I have visited the surgery, I have been seen promptly, and my concerns have been listened to and addressed with the utmost care and attention. The doctors take the time to explain everything clearly, and I always feel reassured and confident in their expertise. What I particularly appreciate about Albany House Surgery is the way they go above and beyond to support their patients. They offer a wide range of services, including vaccinations, health checks, and mental health support, and they are always on hand to provide advice and guidance.Overall, I would say that Albany House Surgery is one of the best medical practices I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The team are fantastic, and I feel incredibly lucky to have access to such a high standard of care. If you're looking for a surgery that puts patient care at the forefront, then look no further than Albany House Surgery!

Totally unfair of other reviewers to rate this GP practice negatively for wider problems caused in the NHS by poor governance.Recently moved my family to Albany House after moving to Worcester. Long-standing issues affecting four of my children which were, for years, treated with disinterest and excuse-making by the previous GP surgery in Bromsgrove. Albany House has been a breath of fresh air: the GPs listen, they are proactive, and we finally have a plan of action for each of the children to deal with or investigate their health issues.Yes, it can be difficult to get an appointment on some occasions (but usually I have no problem). Yes, the queues for the phones are long sometimes. But I suggest that patients who are here griping and moaning try other surgeries because, from experience, you could do far far worse.

I have recently left this practice, due to no confidence. A few years ago, I would have rated them 5 stars. The doctors there were excellent. Unfortunately, some amazing GPs have left and things have changed, NOT for the better. Tried to get an appointment for my husband last year, 2 weeks of constantly ringing and being told no appointments, eventually a phone appointment! Unfortunately misdiagnosed due to no face to face appointments. He died 6 weeks later.

We can't praise Albany House highly enough. They are amazing. Gp's and nurses are so knowledgeable and caring and they always act immediately to any worries or concerns you've got. Ok yes I've had to wait for a call to be answered, but when it is answered the staff do what they can to help. I cannot understand how they are so low in the ratings!

Impossible to get to speak to anybody let alone get an appointment. Trying to get through for blood results and after 58 mins of being number 2 in the queue was disconnected. Rang back, still number 2 in the queue, on hold for another 47 mins only to have an automated message tell me the results line is now closed. Rang back to speak to reception, number 6 in the queue and after 25 mins on hold my position hadn't changed so gave up.Staff are lovely when you manage to get in but you've more chance of getting an appointment with santa unfortunately.

A couple of Doctors are thorough but unfortunately the practice itself let's them down. Very badly run! You can never get an appointment unless you have a life limiting illness. People's symptoms that should be recognised that could be the start of something more sinister are ignored and ailments that can affect your quality of life are also ignored

Genuinely one of the worst GP surgeries I have ever dealt with. Do not use them. The reception staff are rude. They cannot send repeat prescriptions correctly. Appointments are non existent. Its a shame becauseThe GP’s are lovely. Everything else is woeful

Bar a two year break where I was out of catchment, this surgery is great, doctors really caring, yes it can be difficult to get through on the phone sometimes, but they are always helpful and level of care is fantastic.
