I had only been to the Bright Sparks toddler group once before. Today I came here with my younger daughter (2.5 years old) and my older one (8.5 years old), and I was very surprised. It turns out there's age discrimination in this place. I came so that my younger daughter could play with other children, as it was raining outside. My older daughter has half term break now, and I couldn't leave her alone at home. They didn't let us in because they considered my older daughter to be a danger to the younger children due to her age. I understand that this event is organized for children up to 4 years old, but I said that my older daughter wouldn't play with the toys and would sit next to me on a chair, but they insisted that it was unsafe. It's strange to me that the people organizing such gatherings have double standards for children. When I was there last time, there was a boy sitting with a woman who was around 13 years old, and apparently according to the staff, he was considered safe. I won't go back to this place anymore.

Been attending for 20 years, love the way we want to be involved in the community and praying for it to prosper for the benefit of all.
