Sold me a car that seemed to be a great deal and was told it would last me a long time. I had just been in a pretty horrendous crash and trusted the owner as they seemed really honest and supportive. When viewing the car I was told it had been fitted with a brand new clutch just a month or two before and there won't be any issues. Within 2 weeks of owning my car the clutch completely failed. I was left with my clutch pedal stuck on the floor of the footwell and no way of moving my car (even the pad of the pedal snapped off). After contacting HSMC they sent someone to collect my car and had it for 2 weeks while they had their preferred mechanic look at it. They deemed that the part failed and it would need replacing again (it happens, annoying but whatever) this was done luckily under warranty (hence 2 stars) and after 2 weeks I got my car back....3 weeks later the clutch failed again. I contacted them and they just passed me off to the mechanic even though the problem initially was raised within the warranty period and wasn't fixed. Apparently the part was under warranty but that was with them, not me as they took it to the mechanic. I don't trust their mechanic, who supposedly replaced the clutch twice already, so I've taken it to another mechanic who has said it will take £1000 to fix and that the previous fix wasn't done correctly. They have also warned me about other issues which will likely cause costly problems in the near future. I understand that I chose to take the car to another mechanic, that's my choice that I'll pay for but I do feel on some level I was sold this car under false pretences.. now I'm flat broke and still stuck.If you buy here ask to have it seen by your own mechanic first, don't trust that they will tell you the truth about the car and be cautious, if it seems too good to be true - it probably is.

Bought my wife a little runaround from high street motor company fair play to the staff my wife is not the easiest to deal with but they really delivered and made sure the car was as she wanted even refurbing the alloy wheels in a colour she specifically wanted one small issue with the vehicle a week or so after we first drove away it developed a small knock over bumps we rang chris at the garage and he had the car back in the next day and back to us same day all fixed great service all round

So pleased we found this place as its set back from the main High Street, but we bought a lovely Cupra from here for the daughter. The lads were excellent to deal with and stuck to their words. Daughters so happy with it, fully recommend this place if buying a used car
