Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Hull East

I have already rented several times from other branches of Enterprise, but this one I do not recommend.Car not very clean, low fuel level, service brakes signal…I booked an automatic and they gave me a manual transmission.They gave me the excuse that I had a foreign phone number which prevented them from calling me.They could have contacted me by email! suggests that I wait a few hours later if by chance an automatic vehicle becomes free in another branch, but without certainty!No response to my email for my automatic/manual vehicle price difference refund request. Just received an automatic notification for the refund of the Potential Additional charges > Disastrous customer care. After 2 weeks I'm still waiting for their apologies… They told : « We will refund the difference… » >> nothing!!!After 6 weeks, I'm patient but don't laugh at me!! I'm still waiting for my refund for the difference in the vehicle's gearbox and a commercial gesture! I'm not renting from Enterprise again until I get my money back, last week I had to rent a truck, I had two companies and a choice of which was Enterprise, of course I chose the other…

Great customer service and great car. Location is easy to access.Unfortunately - need to allow non-UK clients to call the East Hull office. This is currently not possible so call other Hull office and ask to be transferred.- the combination of new staff and poor technology led to a very slow pickup. Maybe more handholding of new staff and improve technology - your technology has an enormous impact on customer service.

Worst branch on earth, ran by several kids who have no idea what is going on. Only props to a Blond lady handing the keys over as she did everything she could to look professional against the playground inside. Joke customer service.

Good friendly staff who gave awesome customer service and were very quick and efficient.

AVOID. As a customer I can only aware people to doesn’t use that service, they provide my courtesy car and first car was to small then after phone call they exchanged for something bigger( still not same size of car as mine). When come time to return and they arrange collection nobody attend at time where I wasted mine waiting for them, later I received a phone call that they have short of driver. But when they arrange another collections and no one come again for another 3 phones. Finally branch manager called me and scared that I don’t wanna return car and I gonna be charged by them for that she’s said that someone come to pick up on Friday 100% (of course none come) than on Saturday she come by herself without any phone calls. I rise complaint with head office(someone supposed to call me in 5days) of course nobody answer and hey don’t care. Completely waste of time to use them

This site is very clean and tidy, the staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble, the van hired was clean and perfect. Would use them again when needed and would definitely recommend them:-)

Do not use the Holderness Road, Hull, branch EVER no matter how desperate you are for a car. Got an email from my car insurance to get a hired car from Enterprise. Phoned to arrange getting the car on a Saturday afternoon, to hear a voice message saying they are closed and only open office hours? thought a bit odd for a Saturday. However left message to say I’m awaiting a car, if they could ring me. I’ve rang them daily, plus chasing my insurance, to help. It’s now 5 days later, still haven’t had a call from Enterprise! I have rung them countless times, been put on hold then cut off. Rang my insurance company daily, then on day 4, they said they had escalated it, and the area manager of Enterprise would ring me, before end of day. No call (didn’t expect it to be honest), it’s all lip service, every time I’ve rang they say “we don’t have any cars? I ask when will you have a car? to be told ‘we don’t know’. It’s an absolute joke, what is more worrying is, the bad reviews are not new, therefore the branch/company are aware of the bad service within this branch, and basically don’t care, as nothing has improved. As they say you lead from above, so if the Area manager doesn’t demonstrate Customer care, what is the chance of getting it from branch staff.

If I could give a lower score, I would give a lower score. They promised to bring a car on Monday through our insurance company. It is Thursday now and we have not received a car. They told us that the car was on its way Again. It’s 8.50pm and no Car. Honestly, their customer service is absolutely terrible. I wouldn’t trust them and I wouldn’t ever do a car off. Please have a hired cars all around the world as I can honestly say these are unreliable. I will never ever trust these people again, the customer service is absolutely appalling. They don’t answer the phone if they’re not. They are wrong when you’re in the pretend that they are some body else. All the blame on somebody else when in fact is them. It’s very good letting disabled people down. Honestly, you call customer services and they talk a load of rubbish even them put the phone down on you. Had to come here to pick up a hire car after my car had been hit.The service here is not what I expected at all. Years ago I used enterprise and was not very impressed, mind that was like 8-9 years ago.When I walked into the office I noticed a young very cheerful and cheeky group of staff who were more than helpful.Johnathan (whose choice of football team did let him down) was amazing. This man was outstanding.I had to go back after 3 months to resign the paperwork and swap the car over to another one and dealt with 2 different members of staff (sadly I never took their names, sorry) but needless to say again outstanding customer service.The staff here went above and beyond.Thanks so much for everything.

Wish I could give less. Supposed to be supplying me a van after instruction from insurance company which I needed asap to work. Kept delaying and promising to call me back which they never did. 4 days without a vehicle the insurance company had to cancel with them and use another company to which they dropped me a van off the very next day. Terrible service which has cost me loss of earnings/customers
