Can’t just walk in and buy anything anymore… have to mess around ordering on a tablet whilst a colleague is aimlessly watching you…. Might as well have ordered on Amazon…

Really nice friendly staff. They were have a problem with the internet while I was there so running a bit slow. But handled it very well, keeping us constantly updated until the issue was resolved. Well done.

Excellent place for all who needs anything for the DIY jobs we all put off, you'll find it a bit cheaper than B&Q and shops similar... Friendly helpful staff who have an extensive knowledge range of of most things to do with all trades... High quality and I would absolutely recommend you try it.... Excellent Covid-19 restrictions too

Very good prices, and a good all-round place to go. The guy behind the counter was very helpful... I just needed some steel toecap boots and he helped me order them in a few minutes!

This is a perfectly splendid place to get all the hardware that you need! Celia behind the counter goes out of her way to make sure that you are getting exactly the right product for whatever job you have in hand. 100% recommended!

Becoming a regular here. Mike was very helpful today, as I felt I was on a mission for sky hooks!! He was able to identify and supply 50% of my order.

Not allowing tradespeople to use the customers credit notes? I am just the customer, I don't know what I am supposed to be buying, I am at work thats why I hired someone to do it for me. Not helpful one day my tradesperson being able to use the note, then the next being told this was 'not allowed' Ironically, the credit note was originally given to my mum, not even me as I work during screwfix opening hours and can never get there) I suppose its a way of them making money off peoples misfortune. It will never get spent so win, win for them.

Decent prices and wide selection of products. Staff friendly. Unfortunately some customers seem to want a showroom" type of service but this is a trade counter store so frustrating if you are waiting for a simple click and collect."

I've never shopped with Screwfix before but needed some decking screws to finish a job so I went to B&Q. They didn't have any so I looked online and found that Screwfix had them but the store was only operating a click & collect service so I had to register with them first then pay for the goods and wait for a text to say it's ready. I was nearby so drove to the store to wait. After 15 mins, I had not received the text so I went inside the store to be told that they don't have any after all. I'd have to wait for the stock to come in in the next couple of days. I asked for a refund as I needed them today to finish the job and would need to get them elsewhere but was told I can't have a refund until they receive the goods and it'll then take 21 days to get a refund. I strongly advise against using these cowboys for your DIY needs!

Coming back to the UK things have changed... You have to now pay for an order rather than on delivery.I ordered some cable, & was told two days for pick up, a week later it still has not arrived = rubbish
