Decent pint, but badly needs a facelift, was in here 25 years ago and it looks the same only older and more tired. They also allow old firm tops to be worn, not a great idea on a Friday night, asking for trouble.

An excellent place to chill.take in the scenery.with helpful and friendly barstaff.no matter your nationality.the menu is restricted to bar foodserved in a traditional way. Crisps or nuts.and if you're adventurous maybe a packet of scampi fry's or pork crackling..lol

A little bit of a dive, and more of an old man's pub. It can be quite lively at the weekends but through the week the atmosphere is often lacking. The drinks are a little expensive too, especially for Lanark. That being said, certainly not the worst pub in town and the regulars are nice and friendly.
