Cleveland security installed an alarm for my late parents In 1990 and it is still working faultlessly to this day. Up until my Mam passing in Sept 2021 they always made sure the System was fully maintained through out the 32yrs allowing her to feel safe and the engineers treated her with the upmost respect in a warm and friendly manner.Nothing was ever to to much trouble.I can highly recommend this professional family firm.S. Would not recommend. Got an alarm fitted and all was professional service. Three years later, battery faults and sensor faults. Told that for wireless system batteries do have short shelf life and you are therefore pretty much tied to their maintenance scheme at £90 a year!!! This should have been made really clear at set up. Would expect more from a near £500 alarm system.I would recommend looking around if you want an alarm that isn't based on a subscription service, as these alarms - I can only speak for wireless - seemingly require either specialist knowledge to change your own parts regularly or subscription to the maintenance plan.

Have been very pleased with the alarm fitted 10 years ago, had no problems with it at all until some recent electrical work where the alarm thought it had been tampered with so we needed an engineer's visit. Phoned Cleveland Security to ask if someone could have a look at it, but because we cancelled the maintenance contract 2 years ago they wouldn't look at it. I was told to find another alarm company for an engineer. As Cleveland Security have code to input to override the tamper device it proved a slight difficulty. I have no problem with the workmanship or product but feel the company hold you to ransom if you do not have a service contract with them.

Friendly & polite when contacting the office by phone & the engineer who visited solved our intermittent problem & explained & demonstrated the system to us.
