Diadem Medical Practice

Trying to get past the fully medically qualified phone receptionist with her I dont care attitude, to get an appointment to see a Dr is a nightmare as she knows best, she could also do with a course in customer relations and not just in bad manners...

Despite being unable to get an appointment at New Hall Surgery, they arranged a face to face appointment the very next day at Diadem. Admittedly, I have transport, which obviously helps. Yes, I had the same issue other people have had trying to get through on the phone (which is frustrating).I saw Dr Turnbull who was brilliant. She made me feel extremely relaxed and explained everything very clearly. We even had a bit of a giggle which really helped.I have been to the other Modality clinics and always found them first class. Cheery receptionists and clean/safe surroundings, so for me, a little baffled why they have such a low scoring. Perhaps more people answering the phones needed?

So I've decided to go private. I need a referral from my doctor.. Thursday I rang at 4pm,, not for an appointment just a general enquiry.. 30 max in queue on phone. Same again at 5pm on Friday.. today there's a 100 people already waiting and that's the maximum capacity and I get cut off.. To not even be able to call regarding an enquiry.. how is this even allowed to happen?? I'm at work I don't have hours and hours spare just to actually get through to the surgery..

Managed to get a last minute appointment there for my Mum. Disabled parking outside and very short walk into the building. Very clean, spacious and modern with easy screen check in. The doctor was very professional in every way, considerate, caring and thorough in his assessment. Very proud of all those who work in the NHS.

All staff are brilliant such a disappointment not being able to get through on the phone. Another criticism is the new airmid for ordering prescriptions ok if you have a smart phone or tablet but what about the elderly who don't have either? L C

My family and I have been with Diadem for 12 years.All the staff at the practice, from the cleaners to the manager do a great job.In the 12 years ive only had one complaint and that was delt with quickly and proffesional.It can be hard to get through on the phone some times,but what most people dont relise is. The practice phone numbers are for all the practices, not just Diadem.I can not fault the staff one bit, they are as frustrated as us most of the time, Its not their fault or the doctors faults that appointments are hard to get, Its the goverments.The goverment has cut funding time and time again into healthcare services but expect the healthcare/doctors to do more with with less resources(Im an ex private and council carer)Doctors would rather spend time with their patients instead of filling in a load of paperwork. They didnt spend all that time and expence at university to learn and want to do paperwork.Thank You to all the staff.

My Partner attended the Medical centre for a CHCP appointment and whilst there suffered a medical episode, the Staff that helped that day until the ambulance arrived was Fantastic. On arrival at hospital she was found to had suffered a minor heart attack, so from the bottom of my heart as her partner I just want to THANK the Dr's and the receptionists fast action to give and get her the help required

Had a really good experience at the gp recently my daughter became Ill she was seen by doctor really quick appointment? Gp said if the symptoms worsen which they did to call back straight away, she went in as she was passing by and the gp saw her within 5 minutes of been there and prescribed the medication appropriate. Very friendly staff working there very hardest they deserve a lot of respect. Thank you diadem medical practice

Great if you can get in, I have had a couple of big problems now for over a year that I need sorting but I can't ever get through to make an appointment (not like your allowed to make appointments anymore you have to call on the day and hope for the best if you can't get in well tuff t1ts for them). Since they changed their phone system it's harder than ever to get through and it was difficult before!!! Guess I will just have to live with my health problems until something bad happened where I need to go to A&E. IT'S ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!
