She manages to create a low-pressure learning environment, while believing in the student enough to hold them to a high standard. That way, when praise is given it really means something. Ursula is a brilliant and engaging violin teacher and also a deeply nice person. I have been having lessons for about a year and have really been enjoying the process. Not only is Ursula an awesome violinist but she clearly understands the process of teaching and is very responsive to what works for the individual. She has been keen to guide lessons through the angle of what I specifically want to get out of violin and the types of music that I am eager to play. I could not recommend Ursula enough!
