I ordered a wash bag kit from Lauren. All the pieces were cut out which made it really easy to start. The QR code was great as I scanned it, then it took me to a page with step by step videos. As a visual learner this was great as I could follow all the steps and replay if needed. I am really pleased with my final product and would order other kits again.

After not sewing for a few years, I ordered the pencil case kit to make. My daughters and I enjoyed sewing our kits over an evening. All the materials were provided and cut to the correct sizes. The videos were great as I could watch Lauren complete each step, where she explained each part slowly and clearly. It was a brilliant way to get back into sewing and I am keen to share my creation

I recently spent an enjoyable evening making one of Lauren’s sew your own coin purse kits. Really clear instructions- I mainly used the written instructions and accompanying photos, but the videos were great too. The materials included in the kit were beautiful and high quality. Would highly recommend.

I got the make your own wag bag kit wondering whether I had the skills to complete it as I had such limited sewing experience except for some tuition back at school 20 years eta ago. I borrowed my sisters machine. I can honestly say I enjoyed the whole process so much! It was rewarding and exciting following each step and wondering how it was going to turn out. Lauren’s instructions were so clear and calmly delivered. Having a video made it handy as I could rewind if I wanted to watch a step again.The wash at is a brilliant size. I’d been looking for one bigger than my makeup bag so I can fit a few bigger items for going away. Now I can fit the extras without it being too big that it’s bulky.I’m really keen to do it again. I love the fact that the kit makes a great present but so does the finished product.

I purchased the shoulder bag kit and was not disappointed! The materials were of really good quality. The waxed cotton canvas in particular makes the bag seem really professional and will make it more durable.The videos were so detailed and really easy to use and it was great being able to rewind the video if I needed to. Another bonus - I'll now be able to make more bags it comes with a PDF pattern! I'd definitely recommend this kit and I'm really pleased with the bag!

Really enjoyed making this and have a lovely pencil case at the end of it. It comes with all the materials you need, apart from thread. Tip 1: Maybe bear in mind what thread you have at home when choosing colour unless you don't mind buying matching thread. I picked the mustard colour case, luckily had a golden thread that doesn't stick out too much.I mainly used the written instructions as fairly confident in my sewing skills.The video tutorials are fab though, super clear and well paced to follow and cleared up some confusion about the trickier zip sewing instructions. If you are a complete beginner (but know how to use a sewing machine) this kit is for you. Lauren's video tutorials will guide you through the making of your pencil case.Tip 2: don't get excited about receiving your kit, open it and then loose one of the beads. There are small parts in this kit. Luckily, I kept beads from a broken bag and was able to use those.Very pleased with the result.This kit makes a lovely present for your craggy friends as it comes prettily packaged and wrapped.PS great trick on how to thread thicker cord through small zip pull holes, a revelation to me!

Having done a washbag workshop before with Lauren, I was eager to try one of the drawstring bag kits. It arrived beautifully packaged. The kits would make a delightful present for someone. After downloading and printing out the instructions and handy photo pointers, I got started. My skills are basic to medium on the sewing machine, and admittedly, there are some tricky parts to the kit, but with Laurens' clear and concise guide, I finished it easily. I am really impressed by the finished product, the materials are of high quality and the bag looks really chic! Question is, who's the lucky person who will be getting this for Christmas, or shall I keep it myself!Thank you Lauren

Sew Your Own Drawstring bagWhat a great make from Lauren Holloway ! The video instructions are super easy to follow as they are step by step and very well filmed - much easier than following many written instructions. I love the finished article as it’s a quality fabric in an up to date print. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend the drawstring bag kit! It arrived in beautiful packaging and the materials were of a great quality. I'm a beginner and was daunted at the prospect of making something from scratch but it was clear at every step with the help of the videos- I could sew along easily and was so impressed with the end result. Lauren included lots of tips and tricks I wasn't expecting and I feel confident making another bag now!

My pencil case making kit was brilliant! The videos were so clear and simple to follow and there were some top tips for sewing a zip. I’m very proud of my little case, it looks professional even though I’m only a beginner! The kit would make a lovely gift.
