Masham Town Hall

Attended Masham Town Hall for a Woodland Trust outing to Hackfall Woods followed by buffet lunch at the Hall. Clean tidy and staff very welcoming.

Great meeting place for motorcycle on Sunday. Very nice bacon buys from cafe. Plus toilets just off market place and cash machine.

Lovely town hall which is hosting lots of arts & crafts this weekend around wool & sheep for the Masham annual sheep fair.

If there was a zero I would have gave that! 5 of us travelled to Masham from Seaham & York, to see Lee Nelson on Friday night, we were all really looking forward to it, we booked rooms & breakfast in the Bay Horse pub, tickets said that doors opened at 7.30pm, we got there at 7.40pm, he had already started his act & the front doors were locked, we knocked on the door for about 20 minutes, but no one came to let us in, there wasn't just us outside there was other people who had bought tickets outside too! I think it was ridiculous that there was no one was downstairs checking the door till at least 8pm. Between the 5 of us we are out of pocket by £232.50 for hotel rooms & tickets! Not including petrol to get there & a totally wasted journey for my son who wasn't staying the night in Masham as he had work commitments first thing in the morning!

Saturday Market Day +stuff on at town Hall , fab Sweet shop, good day out for everyone,

Great venue in Masham, from WI meetings to ACDC tribute acts, it has everything. Have a bar downstairs, great facility.

Lovely venue. We were hosted by Masham Community Swift group, lovely to see the community coming together to help Swifts and other wildlife too..

Here for the popular Saturday market .A nice selection of stalls with great independent cafe's etc. Lots of 'honesty box' parking too.
