Absolutely wonderful grooming salon. My Welsh Terrier has been groomed by Basia for 6 years. We followed her from a previous grooming setting to the opening of Riverdog Studio in Richmond. Luna loves her and she is groomed and nails cut to perfection. I know Luna is not an easy personality but Basia is so patient & takes on board Luna’s ear & skin allergies. I would not go to any other grooming studio. All staff that I have encountered are so helpful and kind. They always try to fit us in but it is best to book well in advance for grooming. Excellent service, kind and gentle groomers, amazing results and happy dogs. 5 stars from Luna & me.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Staff were kind enough to book me in very quickly as a new customer. My little dog is a senior, 17 years of age with all kinds of health conditions. All of the staff made such an effort to listen while I took them through all of the info regarding this! Sasha was fantastic with Florence and made the whole process a pleasant one for her. All staff here are very warm, very welcoming and friendly, they really do care about what they do and they are all very professional. A lovely shop & business with top drawer service. We will definitely return again. Thanks guys!

Our corgi puppy had her first time grooming which she absolutely loved. All the staff was very friendly and amazing and the results absolutely stunning. Definitely recommend it!

Sadly have made the decision not to return to River Dogs where we’ve gone exclusively since a puppy. Whilst we’ve never been completely content that the cut matched our brief, our dog has always been so excited to return, we overlooked this.On the previous groom, they had managed to match our ideal cut and we were so pleased. However on return this week, after confirming a repeat of the cut, the result frustratingly went back to the norm.When mentioned, the groomer tried to defend the cut by showing a photo of our last groom which clearly showed a mistake had been made.. but no apology was offered and it was apparently down to a ‘miscommunication’.To rub salt to the wound, on payment the requested amount was well above the standard price. On questioning, we were advised a surplus was owed due to minor matting that was remedied by brushing.We appreciate, as per their website they take the dogs well-being first and foremost, but this feels a completely unnecessary charge and more for making money than anything.

Lovely first experience with Riverdog studios. The staff were warm and friendly on the phone and in person which makes a huge difference and also seemed extremely knowledgeable. I was drawn to the fact that they advertise ‘humanity before vanity’ and put the dog’s welfare as top priority. I also think it’s brilliant that they use eco-friendly, sustainable products - a big tick from me! Frisbee, my puppy, seemed very happy after her first gentle groom. Absolutely gorgeous shop with such lovely groomers. I took my 1-year old Peanut the Corgi in for his first groom, and they were so accommodating. They took such great care of him, he didn't want to leave by the end of it! So pleased with this service and will definitely go again!

The people at RiverDog were extremely responsive and helpful in finding time to see our dog however I wish they would’ve called/discussed before they cut off all her coat. She is quite a skittish dog which was mentioned before the appointment took place and now that’s she’s been groomed with a full coat cutting she’s changed quite a bit. Going into winter with no hair is also not ideal. I wish the team would’ve exercised more judgement before completely cutting her back.

We’ve been taking our nervous dog to RiverDog for over a year now, and have always been pleased with the result. The staff there treats our dog with lots of patience. Our dog is not nervous anymore when going grooming because it’s been a positive experience for her. Thanks @Riverdog!

Would highly recommend RiverDog Studio - took my 6 month old Scottish Terrier for his first full groom here and so happy with the experience. Basia and Saskia did an amazing job in making Hugo feel comfortable, were really professional and very accommodating of my requests. They even sent me a photo right after they started to reassure me Hugo was doing well!

I have an extremely nervous dog who gets very scared by the whole grooming process. Riverdog studio though are amazing with her, always greeting her calmly and lovingly and I feel very confident that she is being cared for and treated well when she is with them and she always comes out looking beautiful. I highly recommended them and feel very happy to have found such kind and talented people who really take the time to understand my dog.
