Bolton Dental Practice

If you genuinely need a dentist stay away from this place and go elsewhere. They are literally there to make money not help people.Who charges an emergency fee and then £10 to print out a prescription!I was 5 minutes late which I called up and let them know. They said they have a 10 minute grace period, They had me waiting downstairs for 25 minutes and then when I went to see the dentist all she kept mentioning was you're late can't do anything. I've been in agony for 2 days to be seen and told you're late it's lunch now can't do anything. Absolute joke

I am leaving this review on behalf of my partner, who had treatment recently. He was made to feel welcome and relaxed by staff on reception. He is a very nervous patient, and was made to feel at ease all the way through his treatment. He was suffering pain with a broken tooth and was offered an appointment the next day to get him out of pain. He cannot recommend this practice highly enough!

After not having visited the dentist for over a decade, I was apprehensive to say the very least but had to take the plunge as an old filling of mine had chipped. Dr Usman was lovely and replaced my old metal filling with a much more sightly composite one and made sure I was at ease throughout the procedure.It was such a pleasant experince at the dentist (after having nightmarish ones previously) that I finally decided to take the plunge and go ahead with some cosmetic dentistry work that I'd be thinking about for years. The best part about it is that I felt zero pressure to go ahead with any work, and Dr Usman took the time out to inform me about my different options.I can't wait to finally get the smile I've always wanted and I genuinely can't recommend this practice and Dr Usman and his team enough.

Writing on behalf of my mum who is very nervous patient, after having a horrible experiencing horrible dental treatment. Kris had made her feel so at ease explaining everything in such detail and answering any questions she had making her feel comfortable with treatment she was previously dreading , she feels so much more confident with going ahead with even further treatment. She describes the staff as so friendly and lovely and who go above and beyond, helping her to fit her working schedule for the perfect appointment for herself.

They decided to take my children off their record due to not seeing them for 5 years ? This is completely wrong! But are now apparently not taking on NHS patients ? How can children be refused dental treatment.Not to mention the receptionist was so rude , not professional at all.

Recently finished my Composite Bonding treatment with Dr. Usman, he didn't have to numb me, felt no pain, and got me the white teeth I wanted without drilling any of my natural teeth. Had a brand new smile in 4 hours! Thank you to him and the team for making the journey smooth and hassle free.

Have been at this dentist for 50 Years and never had a problem. Since Mr Ripley has left the practice has gone down hill. They are constantly changing your appointments to another date from the one you booked and each time I have been in I end up seeing a different dentist so no consistency. The one I recently saw appeared to have problems reading my x ray which had been taken previously and I had to tell her 3 times which tooth needed to be removed, to which she then said she was not qualified to do it and I would need to see a more experienced dentist.(not sure if this dentist is now a training practice now, which would explain why the high turnover of staff ? ) I have now left this dentist and gone to another practice .

I’ve only just joined Bolton Dental 2 months ago and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. After horrible experiences at many dentists, this place is the complete opposite. Staff at reception are really nice and welcoming! I’ve recently been having treatment from Dr Usman and he is hands down the best dentist I’ve seen, made me feel comfortable and at ease at all times, explains everything to you beforehand and is amazing at his job. A credit to the practice! Thank you :)

I phoned hoping to get my tooth extracted, spoke to the receptionist and was told that it was £30 just to be seen, because of my desperation I paid, i arrived to be seen by the dentist and then had an x-ray which cost a £10. he said it was £140 to have tooth removed, to which I said I don't have enough money in my account. He then asked how much I have? So I told him, then he said he cannot do anything till I have the funds as it would cost him more, then advised me" to get some clove oil to help with the pain. Very unprofessional and misleading. Be sure to ask the receptionist about any extra costs."
