National Trust Car Park, Lantic Bay.

A great place to park to explore the stunning countryside and views of Lantic Bay and Lantivet Bay, also walk to Lanteglos-by-Fowey parish Church. National trust car park so members can use for free. Picnic benches available to use. No toilets here but just a mile up the road is another car park with toilets.

This is a very convenient car park located near a stunning beach but don’t take this advice to lightly - this is not a beach for anyone who struggles with heights or cant walk long distances, it is a real trek from the car park down the side of a very steep cliff, and whilst there are steps etc some of the way it really is a challenge to get down and up. My wife couldnt face it when we tried the first time due to the height and the terrain but the beach is gorgeous when you do get down there (my son and I went back another day). I would pack light and wear sensible shoes, it is worth it. The car park itself is good, decent amount of spaces and reasonably prices as all the national trust car parks are. We set off on a hike from here to Polruan and concluded at Lantic Bay Beach and it was a great day.

Beautiful beach. The walk to the beach is very steep and may be a bit much for some people. But definitely worth the walk if your able. Great place for the family or couples to have a picnic with amazing views. Carpark is about 10 min walk away and not to much to pay.

Great find of a beach from the National Trust. The walk down is not for the faint hearted, can be a difficult decent and ascent, would be very much worth the journey if you can!

The car park is nothing special. What is special is the view out over Lantic bay and beach which is about 10 minute walk from the car park which is well signposted. We didn’t go down to the beach, it’s a pretty steep track down.

Beautiful beach.Views on way down to it from the nearby carpark are awesome, be warned though, the trip back out of the cove is steep and I'm not sure if it was 5 days of walking miles already creeping up on me but gawd almighty did it nearly kill me.

Stunning beach well worth the very many steps and walk down to the beach

The car park is located about 0.5km from Lantic Bay beach. It’s a steep walk down and up so I do not recommend for people with mobility issues or who are at risk during heatwaves.Prices £2 - 1hr, £4 -2hrs, £8 - all day.You can also pay using the pay by phone app code 803431.Signage seems to suggest open 24hrs.I would recommend bringing more than one means of payment with you as the machine was not taking coins on the day I was there and your phone signal can be bad here depending on the network.

It's a car park. When we visited the machine wasn't working so didn't pay. There's a scanner for members to generate a free ticket. The walk to the beach is a bit hairy so be prepared!

Get to the car park early. Fills up quickly especially on a sunny day. The walk to the beach is about 30 minutes. Expect a steep walk back. There is an easy route!
