Excellent service as usual from Abbey Vehicle Rental. Mark is very efficient and the vehicles rented are always clean and reliable. We have been using Abbey for over a year now and will not hire anywhere else for a our regular bookings for our CIC work.

Not a great experience overall. Not a competitively priced vehicle (however I needed one so agreed to pay of course). Vehicle was returned about 10 litres shy of a full tank as apparently (according to Mark) Peugeot's fuel needle doesn't reach full. Very arrogant text messages from them so will not be recommending or using them again. Car was absolutely fine and clean, location a bit awkward with the new homes being built around it but not Mark's fault.

Having arrived in Southampton and failed to agree to the terms of the hire company with whom I had booked, I found AVR and was really impressed with their service & simplicity. Excellent company with whom to deal. CLEAN cars, non rip off, reasonably priced extras. NICE people. What more do you need?

Mark - what a man!After a van purchased locally elsewhere turned out to be unsafe and illegal, I contacted Mark looking for urgent van hire as was struggling to find one anywhere.Mark took on the challenge and sub-contracted from elsewhere, he kept to his word, delivered a van that met my needs at a reasonable price.I can’t recommend enough

Mark and the team at AVR deliver genuinely excellent customer service. I have rented vehicles from AVR for several years flying into Southampton Airport from the Channel Islands and on every occasion the vehicles are available to be collected fully fueled with no delays with processing paperwork. This weekend we felt like rock stars touring in the Ford Tourneo Custom! Thanks again Mark

Hired a van from AVR and had to change pick up time to 6.30am due to roadworks. Mark did not quibble and was there at his yard at just after 6am so we could get away prompt. Fantastic service and nothing was to much for him.

Great company, really easy to deal with, the van was just the right size, in good condition.They do the checks on your license online before you arrive so you don’t have to sit and wait whilst they photocopy everything etc.Price wise, very cheap! I’ve paid more to hire a smaller van from other places, they also hire with a full tank so you know what you’ve used rather than trying to guess how much to put back in, all in all it was just an easy and simple hire.

An amazing service, very helpful and accommodating in order to provide the car group I wanted at the time I wanted. Easy pick up process from Southampton Airport and return to the same location and easy instructions to follow. Very reasonably priced for the size of car requested and it was spotlessly clean when I picked it up.Would definitley recommend and I will certainly be using them again should I need to hire another vehicle.
