Delightful village bakery, well worth travelling to. Great range of breads, savouries and sweets. We particularly liked the chilli scotch egg and the mediterranean veg roll on our last visit

Nice lityoe village cafe, the hot sandwiches weren't the best, the sausages had a texture that hinted at them being microwaved, but their cakes and bakery items were excellent. Especially the brie quiche.

I would have given 5 stars for the delicious bread and cakes but they are letting themselves down by not having consistently good hygiene practices, that you would expect from a food producing business, when handling the food and it puts me off eating it. For example unwashed uncovered hand for packing bread after handling money etc.

Absolutely love this bakery. Friendly and helpful staff. Love their hot breakfast sandwich, sausage and tomatoe in granary bread. Oh and their freshly baked sun dried tomatoe bread is to die for. Never seen so many delicious cakes and pastries.

Was working nearby this morning and called in mid morning for a sandwich. Had the best bacon and tomato sandwich I've had for many a year. Proper Breadcake and crisp tasty bacon from kind friendly staff. Thank you.

Love this place and think the homemade cakes and Hog Roast Sausage Rolls are amazing. My pupils often like to stop here during Driving Lessons too.

Looks a bit out of place in Dunnington, it appears to be more a Peckham Hipster hangout than rural Yorkshire bakery :-) A really great place, the food is all fresh, well made, great flavours and clearly popular as there's always a queue (even considering social distancing)... a great addition to the village

I have been coming here for years. This is the highlight of my work trips to Dunnington. Everything they sell is superb. The pastry on the sausage rolls is to die for, the white sourdough bread is amazing I always buy one or two to take home. The club sandwich (chicken, bacon, avocado, Mayo and lettuce) on granary is the clear winner. It’s what dreams are made of. This place is not diet friendly as I want to devour everything. The scotch eggs are as big as your head and lush, the cakes are filthy good. Do not miss this place. Absolutely mint. The lasses behind the counter are good craic too. Hats off.

DISGUSTING! Stood waiting for a sandwich to be made and watched a member of staff making cakes LICKING her fingers no less than 8 times (yes, I was counting) between handling/icing cakes, no hand washing at all. She then noticed a stray bit of icing on a cake, and proceeded to use her already licked finger to remove it from the cake, then licked that. Then went to wash utensils, but licked them clean prior to washing them!!! You're on another planet!Sandwiches are decent some times, other times total rubbish and a waste of money.Thanks, but will not be using you guys any longer!
