We just had a little breakfast on our way to an appt... Sausage and egg bap was lovely, so was the coffee and the owner was a charming, friendly man. Would call in again.

Lovely spot for a good coffee. Not only was my scone heated but butter portion (in packaging) set under it to soften… the man’s a genius. Also vey pleasant. I’ll be back.

Delicious food! I love the sweet chili and chicken toastie! I was looking for a place that made omelets nearby and found this place! The hot chocolate was yummy not too sweet, not to bland, juuust right like goldilocks would say! Hahaha! Very pleasant atmosphere and the owner cooks with so much care! He is very personable and if you want anything changed up from your meal just ask! I highly recommend this little Cafe!

Butterfly Cafe
This cafe looked charming at first but had signs of a busy Sunday morning as several tables were not cleared. We ordered breakfast - I asked for scrambled eggs on toast and coffee. My food tasted mouldy. The owner was rude and stressed and refused to accept that there could be anything wrong with the food. He replaced my toast but gave me back the same now cold eggs, but even the eggs tasted of mould. My conclusion was that the mouldiness was either on the plate or the cutlery. The kitchen looked clean on a surface level but it was small and crammed and I didn’t see how it could have been hygienic enough for a cafe. The owner had not cleared away any other tables in the time we were there so it started to look bad. I gave back my food and said I didn’t want any breakfast. My friend finished her food (no toast or eggs) which looked okay. Then the owner tried to charge me for the food which I had returned and was shouting at my friend and asking sarcastically if the coffee was also mouldy. Considering he was so rude I was remarkably polite. Actually I was fuming and couldn’t trust myself to speak to him so my friend handled the bill. There are two more cafes further up towards the Botanic Gardens and a pop up cafe in the grounds which looked much better. I wouldn’t go back to this cafe again. And the owner’s response should tell you why. I was quite happy to pay for the food but I didn’t eat any! I paid for my coffee. End of.

Warm and friendly owner. This is my first time trying the chicken and cheese omeletes and it was delicious. The Baklava was perfect, creamy and fluffy like a cloud. Leave us with a perfect experience. It was the perfect end to a breakfast like this on the last day of our trip in Belfast.

Popped in for a cuppa before an appointment. Owner was warm and welcoming. Choice of teas was amazing. Scone beautiful and the decor was so lovely. All butterfly themed and fresh flowers on the table. A hidden gem of a find.

I visited the Butterfly Cafe Bistro on the 21. of June. The owner told me that cafe has opened on 2015, that means 8 years in operation. The decoration is very nice & cute. It even has real flowers, non of the fake flowers.I went there to have a nice breakfast and it did not disappoint. I had a millionaires fry for only £8.95, which is quite a good deal. The millionaires fry consisted of beans, toasts with butter, sausage, bacon and eggs. Coffee and orange juice was included. It was a nice hearty tasty breakfast. The cafe also a vegetarian menu and a menu of different kind of hot meals. They also have a good selection of desserts such as cakes, scones, baklava.Butterfly Cafe is definitely a great add to the surrounding Bradbury Place area.I recommend visiting this cute café.
