Respryn Bridge Car Park
Nice NT car park by some delightful walks in the grounds of Lanhydrock. It's a bit pricey at £1.50 for up to an hour or £6 for anything else

Respryn Bridge Car Park
It's a beautiful place and a lovely level walk to Bodmin parkway station (or head through the woods towards lanhydrock) but unless you're a National Trust member the charge is a little steep - £1 for an hour I think and £5 all day and nothing in-between. To and from the station is easily doable for most people in under an hour though.

Great for walking and having some outdoor time, great to go in nice weather, not normally very busy.

Respryn Bridge Car Park
This is a very good place to go to for a nice gentle walk or to take your dog. Also great to take the kids too. Lots of wildlife here. We have seen are variety of birds and also squirrels sunning themselves in the large pine trees.

Nearly Always spaces unless it's nice weather and in the holiday season. No toilet etc down there but all available just up the road at lanhydrock.

Respryn Bridge Car Park
We very often walk from the car park to Bomin Parkway Station, is a lovely walk with stunning views of the country side & river. So many trees & plants. Carpark is national trust so free for members. Also you can walk to Landhydrock House from here too & if you come out of the car park & go left you can go over bridge & off along the river walk into the woods. Highly recommended.

Visited here on the last day of our holiday and the wettest but luckily the paths were good. Great if you have bikes and pushchairs

Nice little NT car park, free for members and about a mile walk from the main house.

Respryn Bridge Car Park
National Trust properly, with nice walks along the river. Approach from Lanhydrock house, and not the other direction as it is a VERY narrow road with no passing places. Nice walk up to the house.

Respryn Bridge Car Park
Respryn is part of National Trust offering delightful walks either alongside River Fowey or via path through woods at Lanhydrock estate. Plenty of wildlife (dippers, wagtails, robins, squirrels, dragonflies), flora & trees to see, as well as offering shade during hot days. If really lucky, you may spot a kingfisher or otter along river. Dog friendly. Good place for picnics.Walk through woods has large earth/gravel path which leads eventually to old railway bridge above & ends at Bodmin Park Railway station. Just inside station on right, is charming Signal Box Café, serving delicious hot/cold snacks & drinks. Station toilets located just in front, making it an ideal walk, regardless of whether. Not ideal for nervous car drivers as access to Respryn bridge is narrow (to discourage heavier vehicles to use bridge, which has been damaged previously due to this).National Trust members have free parking at Respryn Bridge car park, which is quite big, (provided National Trust window sticker clearly displayed). Pay & display for non-members @ £1 per hour or £5 for day.
