Beefeater Travellers Rest
I travel around the country a lot and I have been meaning to have a meal at the restaurant. Today I did and I’m so glad I chose this place. The staff are very friendly and polite, also being very efficient. The food is simple fantastic and a great price too. The lunch time special is a must as it’s 3 courses for £19 and that’s a bargain.

This branch of Travellers rest is on Travellers Rest roundabout, just before M50 entrance on Ledbury Road A449 (aim for Premier Inn also there) Ross-on-wye.Log your number plate of car at front desk, this gives you 3 hours parking.Was expertly served by Molly and drinks by Manager.I felt very cared for and food was amazing.Sad I forgot my blue light card as that would have given me 25% discount xxxBut remembered my beefeater card.Thank you for your amazing service.

Beefeater Travellers Rest
We have eaten here a few times as family live close by. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are really friendly and the service is excellent. Food is always freshly cooked, plenty of it and tastes delicious. Drinks are good (we only have soft drinks) love the coffee and little desserts. Parking is free when you put your reg in a machine.

Beefeater Travellers Rest
I took my wife, daughter and two grandchildren to this restaurant for a treat after they suffered the cold to watch me play wheelchair rugby all day. Unfortunately, it was not a treat. Initially we were left at the maitre'd desk for 10 minutes until someone finally seated us. Despite not being particularly busy the waitress took ages to serve us during our visit, it was only on our way out we saw her chatting away to someone not in her area. The food was awful, the veggie sticks starter for my grandson, looked like it had previously been chewed and the carrots weren't even peeled. The starters for us adults, chicken goujons and prawn cocktails were passable, but the main course of roast turkey was indescribably bad, but I shall try. The vegetables were undercooked and once again not peeled properly, the sprouts were so bad I had to pick them up as I couldn't get my fork in! The turkey was dry and the gravy was like gruel. We opted against desserts for the adults as the other food was so bad, we didnt see the point in compounding the issue. However, my grandson had the festively titled santa's hat" for dessert

Beefeater Travellers Rest
Service was good and friendly, the food however left a lot to be desired. I had a mixed grill the stake was medium to rare as requested but had not been tenderised properly if at all, at £45 for that and a salmon meal I won't go there again, and before people ask no I didn't complain, I did mention it to the lovely lady who came to tidy the table, but she was nice and had nothing to do with the cooking, I was tired and grumpy and would not have been polite so rather than getting more worked up we left.

Beefeater Travellers Rest
Busy Beefeater. Sunday roast had all the trimmings and was very good. The ribs and flame grilled chicken was very succulant and full of flavour. Puddings were ok and only slightly warm. Service was very friendly and drinks and food came quickly. We look forward to our next visit and trying out other dishes.
