So far an excellent company to deal with.Specifically Eve, communication is top notch and the advice has been invaluableHope to work with this agent for many years to come. Fees are very reasonable considering the level of service and there is nothing that cannot be arranged.Thouroughly impressed with everything so far, what's important to me is having a 'ready line' straight through where it concerns property and this company evidently recruits people who care.Four stars as I am only 18 months in, the fourth is on standby :)Many thanks for everything so far

I used Moody's eleven years ago to sell my home. Service was brilliant and the house was sold in weeks. We decided to sell again around two years ago so requested a valuation from three local estate agents, one of which was Moody's. Two estate agents arrived with glossy brochures and pushy sales, one undervalued the property by over £10,000! Then along came Peter from Moody's. I found Moody & Co to be very helpful and the customer service was excellent. It had been a while since I had rented a property but they happily answered my questions very quickly and took away a lot of the worry for me. I went to them after hearing good things and I would definitely recommend them too. If you have any problems or maintenance issues, they send people around the same day! A big thanks to all the staff there!

Moody and co. made finding a place of our liking to rent very easy. Communication was easy with them and it was easy to approach them at any time during our stay. The staff was always very prompt in addressing any queries or clarifications. All the moving in and moving out procedures were easy as well. My family have had dealings with Moody's for over 50 years. My father bought his first house through them and, over the years, we have lived in two houses purchased through Moody's. They were very professional and helpful back then. We are now benefitting from their service to landlords which is excellent. The staff could not be more helpful and keep us regularly updated. Unlike many Estate Agents their terms are straightforward. Highly recommended.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Moody and Company. This is the best place to find your choice. House is well equipped. Very supportive, friendly and attractive services. And most importantly, this is the most reasonable price range I found in South Shields.GOOD CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Once I complained about a damaged bed. Eve came immediately and ordered a new one over the phone. I received the new within half an hour. Eve is an angel who supports you a lot. Immediately attend your telephone calls and emails. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.We rented a property in south shields for just over a year. April 2022- May 2023. A series of poor service experiences throughout (too many to list) , very rude lady in the office, some repairs carried out only after we considered legal action due to faulty heavy blinds (condemned by their own tradesperson that came out to evaluate them) falling onto my hand and causing damage ( I am a surgeon.) In the end they begrudgingly replaced them.The most disappointing was at the end of the agreement several faults with the flat were claimed to be our fault- outdated cropped and edited photos were sent to us by email claiming that things were in better condition than they actually were. Luckily we had sent photos of the actual condition during inventory in the first week of moving in by email (nothing was done about this). They attempted to extort money from us and clearly lied- trying to retain our bond which we received back with much difficulty. In short anyone unsuspecting could well be lied to and overcharged by this company. It is on the advice of a good friend who is a lawyer that specialises in property dispute that I write this review so that these practices can come to light and the public know how this company does business- its the only way to cause reform - definitely stay away.I have the screenshots of all the conversations happy to post these too.
