Would recommend a visit. The top pool is obviously rather toxic and we ended up avoiding the lower risk pool just in case, but there were a few folks sitting in the sun after a swim so it looks okay.

Nice place with a nice view but I can't say I love it. Negligence spoiled a view a bit and I mean old building standing near the pools. Pity. Rocks towering from the sea are beautiful as whole nature. Definitely worth see in my opinion however it is a pity really that whole area is a bit neglected. Kids will love it though.

Really lovely place to go. Views are stunning. Just a pity it couldn't be restored to its former glory and be used as swimming pool again

Great location. The pavilion is currently being renovated and turned into a cafe.

What must have been an impressive place to come back in its heyday for outdoor swimming and paddling in a natural amphitheatre has over the years had all its glamour faded away and now looks shabby and uncared for but there are plans for this to change. At present its still a great place to wander about and imagine what it was like with hundreds of holidaymakers enjoying the sunshine and a cold dip in the North sea

What an unexpected discovery! We came over the brow of the hill from MacDuff to the arresting sight of the pool and the enclosing rocky bay. It seems a shame that it's no longer in use but one imagines it in its heyday: laughter, splashing and lazy afternoons beneath the soft grassy cliffs.

It would have been quite the sight to behold when it was open.It is still beautiful, but such a shame to see the old building covered in graffiti. We have had a few visits here, it is never too busy and there is plenty of parking. There are two shingle bay areas then the pools. We spent about an hour and a half here skimming stones and then having lunch at one of the picnic benches. A lovely afternoon out.

So happy to see this place being restored to its original art deco glory, complete with cafe. The 2nd phase will see the completion of the outdoor swimming area. Lovely place to visit. Stunning scenery
