Worked at tesco a while back, they have a thing where items marked with a yellow label on are free to tesco employees. I would come into this store and take a load of stuff and feed the homeless up and down the high street, until one of the shift leaders laid into me for it, so I stopped going :)

Your normal Tesco express but not in the usual position- located right in the heart of the busy shopping, tourist route in LincolnFriendly helpful staff, I will make a mental note for next time, an oasis on a hot day.

Just popped into this Tesco Express to purchase lottery tickets however, I was kept Waiting at the front of the queue whilst the Tesco employees behind the counter were having a good old chat. When they noticed me a lady behind the counter asked “how are you?” To which I replied OK now you have decided to serve me.When the Tesco employee handed me my lottery tickets not a word no thank you no please just an ignorant silence.This is not a way to treat loyal customers. I really am very disappointed by the customer service at this Tesco Express and will be taking my custom elsewhere in future.

my recent visit to this Tesco, I had an unpleasant encounter that I feel compelled to share. I attempted to purchase a Monster Energy drink but was asked for my ID card, which I didn't have with me at the time. I went back home to retrieve it, only to be refused service upon my return. The attendant's attitude was not only unhelpful but also rude, leaving me feeling as if I had been racially profiled.I believe that every customer should be treated with respect. While I understand the need for age verification, I was more than willing to comply. It's disheartening to experience discrimination and mistreatment when all I wanted was a simple purchase.

Great, we'll stocked small store. Large meal deal range but has a particularly small vegetarian / vegan / free-from range. Has small bakery, freezer, magazine, alcohol, fridge, skincare sections too. Coffee / hot drinks machine available. Often has a reasonable amount of reduced items if you visit around early evening. Manned and self-service checkouts.
