Great pet shop and lovely staff. Dog grooming service is excellent. You can also have cake and hot drinks here, and dog-safe cakes too!

Lovely staff. Puppy cut for monty went sound, he loved it.Some cracking treats in their fr dogs too, plus you can have a drink while you wait.Boss

Great local pet shop, with a little café area at the front (pets welcome of course!) a very short walk away from Calderstones park. Took my (on loan) pup in here and he was treated like doggy royalty - the owner couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming.

I popped in earlier while working to puck up some dog food and was able to grab a lovely cup of tea while here. Staff/owners were very warm and welcoming and there are some great products in here. We'll worth stopping in. Thank you.

Always made to feel so welcome. If only my pooches liked being washed, as they get spoiled and pampered every time they're there!

The most loviest couple own The Pet Shop on Allerton Road. They are always so Nice & even with me being a Muslim they always make me feel at ease & so comfortable to come back again & again to their cozy little corner shop. Which is reasonably priced and always well stocked. Once in awhile it's a real treat to check out the New Critters that they get in to keep them & their lovely dog company until someone purchases the cute little Bunnies, Hamsters, Guinea Pigs, Fish, etc. They don't have loads of pets but will get different pets so always nice to see what they get in next. I totally recommend The Pet Shop to everyone especially if you want to enjoy a little chat on your visit. It's always lovely chatting with both of them and once in awhile it's nice to see their lovely daughter come in to help. You can always expect to see a smiling, friendly & familiar face greeting you upon arrival which is why my husband & I will always be loyal customers.

A lovely shop and pet cafe. Elaine has worked so hard to make this a special place. Staff are friendly and helpful and our dog loves it. Martina does wonderful dog grooming and Lucy loves them both.
