The Mitchell Library
It is a very good library, tidy, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and provide professional services. Each floor has different partitions. You can freely choose a suitable seat to read books, or use your own receptor computer. There is an area for children to read books , to provide convenience for parents, provide books in various languages, and you can also read books in Chinese. Equipped with a coffee color, it sells a variety of hot drinks, coffee, and simple food, suitable for staying in the library for a day. The location of the library is very ideal, the surrounding is very quiet, not too many cars passing and stopping. In the center of Glasgow, it is very convenient to take the bus, subway or train, and many people come here on foot.

We had a meeting at the library this morning to see the collection that the librarians had put together with great skill and care. The items were related to Glasgow history, Greek Thomson, and Tenement House.

The Mitchell Library
The Mitchell Library is an insanely beautiful building that I would recommend visiting simply just to see its architecture. The library itself is huge, with various floors and different literature sections as well as the records archives in the lower section. It has big open areas to read/chill/study, and it has a cafe as well as toilets. Everyone who works here has been incredibly friendly and supportive whenever I have approached them. It's well worth your time.

During my bus tour the guide mentioned that this library has a lot of resources for Scotland family history. I walked over after my tour and went up to the 5th floor where the family history section is located. A friendly staff member helped me log into a computer and begin a search using several databases. If you’re looking for family history this is a great place to start.

I use the piano practice rooms weekly. They're great for ensuring you can play on different types of piano when you're studying for piano exams. The cafe is really good too.

The library is excellent - clean, quiet, and comfortable, with friendly and professional staff. It has different sections on each floor for reading or computer use. There's a designated children's area with books in various languages, including Chinese. The cozy coffee corner offers hot drinks and simple food, making it a perfect place to spend the day. Located in a quiet area in the center of Glasgow, it's easily accessible by bus, subway, train, or on foot.

This is my happy place: great light and airy cafe with good coffee and gf options; good reading and working spaces, quiet upstairs; staff upstairs and in the cafe are friendly and welcoming. It's a totally brilliant space and it's easy to get to from Charing Cross Station. The only reason I've not given 5 stars is it can be difficult to get a power socket to plug into.

Great place, been going semi regularly this year. It can get busy on Saturdays, lively place with people of all ages. Love to see small events and people meeting there. Staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. I’ve never seen some of the floors open, which frankly sad. Would love increased hours on Saturday and possibly Sunday (or at least drop boxes for returns!!).
