Clavering House Dental Practice

Staff were so kind and reassuring. I was in and out in no time, no fluffing about at all! It's been about a week since my filling and had absolutely no problems. It feels and looks as natural as ever. Thank you!

We had a very bad experience at this clinic with Ewa Olejarczyk , I received some dentures and they broke the second day of using them. I sent them to get repaired and they came back crooked and I got told that they cannot do anything about it. I also said that it was painful to wear them but they did not care and just told me to wear them. Do not recommend.

I have not seen a dentist for almost 20years and am incredibly phobic due to horrible dental experiences as a child. I visited Clavering house this morning. I was so impressed with how the staff treated me. They were so kind and understanding. The receptionist Ellen was so lovely. She was organised and extremely helpful not only to myself but also other patients in the waiting room too. I saw Nazira and Abby in the dental examination room. The room was light and clean and I was made to feel at ease by both ladies. When I went into the room Abby greeted me. She was warm and friendly and reassured me throughout the check up. Nazira was very gentle during the dental examination. She listened to my anxieties and took her time. She did not hurt me. This has got to be the best experience I have ever had at a dentist !!!! I do have to go back for a dental clean and will most definitely leave another review but the fact I feel that I can go back and go through a dental clean procedure is a miracle. I am actually looking forward to going back and feel very positive so far !!!! Thank you so so much ladies! I never thought I could attend a dental appointment ever again - your support, encouragement, reassurance and kindness has meant that I can achieve this now !!!Review update ! I attended my dental clean at Clavering House yesterday morning. Absolutely fantastic !!!! I was a bit anxious about the procedure on arrival but the staff were so understanding, kind and reassured me. I am so happy with the dental work that was carried out and my teeth look amazing ! I did not feel rushed and the dentist Nazira was very patient with me. Throughout the procedure Abby encouraged, reassured and communicated with me which helped me remain calm. I was so pleased to talk to Ellen the receptionist after the procedure who was so pleased for me as she understood my initial anxieties. The staff have altered my feelings of dentistry and I no longer feel scared to attend an appointment ; as long as it's at Clavering House !!! I definitely recommend this dental practice and rate the staff very very highly !!!! Thank you so much !!!

Everyone outside of the hygienist, who was lovely, at this practice are rude, arrogant and the quality of treatment provided to me as NHS patient was joke.They cancelled one appointment 25 minutes beforehand as the dentist was apparently sick. This was after I had travelled to Ipswich for said appointment.That same week they also cancelled my partners NHS appointment due to 'computer issues'. They said they would call back but never did.Even before this they wouldn't see me for an emergency appointment after I had registered with them as they needed to do a check up first so had to find another NHS dentist to do the work.....The second check up was pointless. Less than 5 mins in total i was in the treatment room and the dentist made it clear she wasn't going to do anything and wanted me gone as quickly as possible.Finally when I need treatment on a tooth she wouldn't do it as its a back tooth and complicated. My patience with them finally went when the same dentist tried to tell me she would refer me to the private side for the same treatment people are entitled to on the NHS.Absolutely shockingly poor service. If you can't be bothered to treat NHS patients with anything but disdain then don't offer that service.

A brilliant dentist surgery. Both dentists are helpful and friendly and have been very good with children. They are a busy surgery in a busy town and must have to deal with a lot of awkward customers but they always manage to fit us in and are clear about charges.

Rude and arrogant receptionists. Avoid

Went for my first appointment with Annie the Hygenist today. Booking in was easy, staff were all helpful. Annie was very friendly and talked me through the whole process, giving me tips on how I can brush more effeciently. Would definately recommend this practice and will be back again :)

First time back to this dental practice in about 7 years! My fault I let it slip. High time I went back and so glad they kept me on their register. Thankfully no filling required for me but they did a super job on a descale and polish, very thorough indeed. I’ll be back again in 6 months for another check up and this time and note to self, don’t ignore your dentist!!

Good practice been going for 5 years now, do good work and reasonable charges. High-light is the hygienist Annabel, decades (!) of experience, good advice, very good and friendly, even when it 'hurts' - I go every 3 months now, worth it. Recommended
