If I could give 0 star, I would.The staff focused on her cookies more than answering my enquiries.

Terrible customer service, especially two ladies at the till. Will give zero star for customer service. Rude and not friendly.

If I could give zero stars I would.I went to this wickes a couple of weeks ago to check out their garden tiling and what they had in stock as the website isn't always accurate.I also remembered while browsing that I needed a new garden hose.Upon checking what they had garden hose wise, decided to do the usual thing and compare the pricing with other competitors. I found the exact same one (30m hozelock) for 20 quid whereas wickes offered it for near 40 quid!I approached the cashier and asked if they price matched and when asking I discovered their big marketing banner about price promise (price match). Cashier spoke to supervisor over the radio and supervisor said yup sure thing put it through.I went to get the said item. Original cashier was busy and proceeded to the next available one. Upon putting it through the system, they then said they couldn't do it after saying they could!That was really deceptive on their part!Price promise bunch of baloney. Morales and integrity misplaced.I certainly decided to not place the sizable garden tile order with them and walked straight out - no sale for you.

Ordered via the website and needed a few extra bits while in store. (Not my usual choice of merchant but had what I needed at short notice, Great or so I thought)While in store I'd previous checked stocked via the website. Unfortunately I couldn't find what I needed in store. So asked a young member of staff - who assured me there was no stock of the item I needed and to come back later in the week after a delivery.Not that I didn't belive the guy but thought I may have made a mistake so I checked online while in store and was saying stock at 13 units - needless to say I kept looking and found the 13 at the end of an isle....So I get the extra things I need and go to pay - huge que not the stores fault just busy, I get to the till and say I've also got a click and collect to get. To which I get told 'I don't do that here you will have to que again for the other desk... So get my items -a trolley full badly balanced and already damage to packaging and a product. Get loaded up and get home to find that one of the products is wrong. Drive back to store to sort (the guy on click and collect was quite helpful) but the rest of the staff I encountered had no experience knowledge and were most unhelpful. Will not use again unless I am desperate. Would not recommend

Not the most extensive range of goods, but I was impressed with the Wickes branded tools. Much better than the own branded tools from B&Q.

Edit: boycotted permanently as of today.Good for timber, plasterboard, concrete etc but do not put yourself in a situation where you'll need to use their customer service. I've used their click & collect which is woefully slow and painful and cant be done at the same till as bits bought in store. Also today checked stock levels online (10x units apparently), only to get in store and ask staff members and staff tell me they aren't in stock. Shame I'll stick with Screwfix for everything other than building materials - they seem more knowledgeable and can-do""

Not a happy customer me. Just been to collect my order. Was told by the customer service person that I've been on my own all day so I haven't been able to pick your order" fair enough I thought

Good collection of DIY, kitchen design with reasonable price

Placed two large online orders for delivery last month. A day before each delivery I get a call and email to say several items are not in stock so I only received part of each order. All the main items required were not available. It then took me 3 phone calls to customer services before I got a refund, which was nearly a month after the delivery date.I then placed a click & collect order. The items were in stock as I had just been to the store before it closed and saw them but the staff couldn't assist as the forklift wasn't charged to get the items down. Following morning I get a call to say they only have a certain number of the item so cannot give me the complete order which was unbelievable as there was a full pallet in stock. When I collected what was available and got home, one item was broken. Went back to store and the staff member didn't have a clue what to do, even after explaining to him 2 or 3 times.Probably the worst service I have experienced. I would recommend trying other places first as you are more likely to get what you need.

Great off the shelf kitchens far superior to b and q take away kitchens. Have great online services regarding stock as it's bit temperamental at the moment due to driver shortages. Has plenty of stock in store every time I go.
