I recently visited Dexter Laundrette and Dry Cleaners, and I had a wonderful experience. Mr Mohammad, the staff member, was extremely courteous and helpful. He went above and beyond to assist me with my laundry needs. I appreciate his excellent customer service and friendly demeanour. Dexter Laundrette is definitely a top-notch establishment, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of laundry services.

I went to that laundry for a wash, iron and fold service. First of all, you are welcome as if you were an intruder: no smile, poor eye contact, almost sighing. My gut feel told me to leave but I was in a rush and decided to give it a go. The day after, I came back to pick up my stuff and they put everything in plastic bags; of course they didn't bother to iron and fold however I was charged the full price! When someone has such a nerve to treat clients like that, there is no point saying anything, they are simply happy to scam you and they don't even bother pretending! Business is probably managed by some exotic mafia. No need to risk your physical integrity for this and I just left with a big smile... My recommendation: avoid at all cost and give your money to people who are proud of what they are doing and have a decent sense of customer service.

I like using their service whenever I want to get my bedding linens laundered. They have always been good with answering any questions about operating the machine etc., and also helps with the coins etc if needed. They also have the detergent capsule if you want to buy from them. Good customer service.Machines look clean and some machines accept 50p /£1 coins.

Been here on a couple of occasions, every time the tumble dryer leaves clothes smelling like cheesy feet. They obviously do not clean their tumble dryers to eliminate odours. I know it is the tumble dryers as I didn't put certain items in and they smell lovely! Complete waste of time and money and so avoidable with a little care and maintenance.

Average prices for average cleaning, but (based on single experience - which won’t be repeated) customer service is poor. Promised delivery was never made, voice message to inquire was never responded to, and when I finally reached someone days later was unapologetically informed that “the guy who does the deliveries isn’t here today, try back tomorrow”.

The worst alteration service ever. I asked to shorten a pair of trousers and I was told that they were going to be ready after 3 days. When I came back the trousers not only were not ready but the men there, told me that he didn't have time to finish the job and he had the courage to tell me to finish it by myself at home!!! and also he wanted even to charge me for the job that he did not do! unbelivable! I never had any similar experience in any other places. The men there is very rude and non-professional.it is definitely the worse place for alteration service i ever stepped in.

Dropped off a luggage full of dirty laundry in the middle of a trip. Got it back the next day clean and fresh, but folded slightly messily. Still a very practical option if you have a need and are in the area.

It is likely that their washers and dryers actually wash and dry as I have never used this service. I have had a couple of things satisfactorily dry cleaned. However, be careful if you want any sewing done here. I had an old coat relined but they did it too short. However, as it was an old coat and they threw in dry cleaning, I didn't complain. I then had the sleeves taken up on a relatively new coat and when I went to pick it up it had been rolled up into a ball. They actually ironed it when I went to collect it. I must have been mad to go back some months later to have a skirt taken up. Not only was it not stitched as I asked but it too was treated like an old rag. On this occasion the iron was not on so I had to take it home creased. They did say I could come back on another occasion if I wanted the hem ironed but I declined. No wonder he took my money before showing me the skirt. To be avoided for this particular service as whoever does the sewing has no respect for your things.

Excellent service, top notch altering service. Tailor guy does the business every time and so humble and polite. Would not hesitate to to recommend this dry cleaners.

We usually get the laundry service - wash, dry and fold. Can’t fault them, always do a good job :)
