Photo of parcel by front door taken but delivery driver didn’t ring bell or knock on the door- two people inside who weren’t aware someone was at the door. Now got inconvenience of picking up item. Not a good experience of a “delivery service”

The local delivery driver has a very unpleasant habit of dumping the parcels at the barrier to the site. No attempt ever made to press the intercom to gain access. Today's level of utter incompetence includes leaving the goods in a puddle by the barrier so they are now soaked and ruined.

Some of the drivers of this company are so arrogant, they persistently ignore our opening hours. It has taken several phone calls and eventually I had to visit them in person.The trouble is, these individuals blight the outstanding service of the drivers that are top notch and the only way to make these large companies take note is to give poor feedback.DHL Parcel UK Depot Ransomes Park, Ipswich, you need to re-train these lousy drivers or replace them!

I choose to drop off rather than collect from home for my DHL parcel. I dropped off my parcel at my nearest drop off point & obviously assumed it was on its way! When I checked the tracking 3 days later it showed that it had not been dropped off. Turns out that the Ipswich DHL drop off depot is ‘DHL Parcels’ & my parcel was ‘DHL Express’ which apparently should have been taken to Colchester. No mention of this on the website however or from the staff when I dropped it off! I returned to Ipswich concerned that they had lost my parcel & it was sitting under the desk of the girl took it off me 3 days earlier! No call from them or any attempt to contact me to tell me all of this, although my details were on the label. I wonder if I hadn’t gone back what would have happened to it! Please be warned, that DHL Parcels & DHL Express are separate companies & don’t speak to each other or help each other.

First up, I found the customer service to be decent. Delivery not so good. Driver couldn't find the office to deliver the parcel, a new laptop, then I got a redelivery notification for the next day but again it didn't show up. Called up call centre who said that it never went out for redelivery. Turns out after the first delivery attempt the item was never scanned back into the depot, now they can't find the parcel. They are going to continue to look for it, but if you're reading this review, then they didn't find it.

My delivery was due by 16:30, it never arrived and DHL made no attempt to re deliver or contact me about my parcel, the tracking suggested the driver had enough for the day around 16:00 stopped delivering the rest of his load and drove back to his depot. I drive HGV's, I would be sacked if I decided not to bother to do my job. I am shocked at how bad their service is, I will never use them again for myself and will do my very best not to order from anyone who uses them. Zero stars, 1 is too generous!

Used DHL 25Nov2023 from UK to South Africa parcel still not delivered. I have paid 3times but parcel still not delivered.

Had numerous parcels delivered from here with no problem at all. All drivers kind and helpful. And always left in the safe place as requested thank you.

If you think you know what bad is , go to DHL......learn some stuff.They have their own levels of bad.I have a ring doorbell, so I have footage of DHL knocking on the door, ignoring the ring doorbell, then when there is no answer knocking on the door, they leave a slip for me to travel a 36 mile round trip to collect my parcel.To top it off, on another occasion, a package containing jewelery was left at my doorstep, again without using the ring doorbell, and yet a package containing Styrofoam for crafts was taken back to DHL depot In ipswich , another 36 mile round trip for me to collect it .No apologies, no explanation, the staff at the depot were rude , obnoxious and very unhelpful.DHL are almost as bad as evri, who do exactly the same thing.I can only strongly suggest you boycott and trader that uses DHL.
