Literally the worst experience with any company ever, terrible service from start to finish, ruined my car and a 2 month job turned out to be 7 months, then it was broken from day 1, rebuilt wrong.Cost me in excess of 7000 , absolute joke, I rarely write bad reviews as I'm a business owner myself, but this guy ric was unbelievably bad

Bailed me out many a time with mapping, tig welding, fabricated parts ect.

Ricky and his guys . . . class act, simply the best !Welding & Underseal, they are at the top of the Tree. I Highly recommend ! !

Before i get started I need to mention that this review is purely down to the care and service level provided during my experience at Racetech.Towards the back end of 2015 I decided to get my mx5 turbo overhauled at Racetech, the previous kit was showing signs of age, the main issue being a cracked manifold.After consultation with Ricky and plenty of up sell/promises I decided to opt for a completely new turbo kit, manifold ,downpipe, turbo, intercooler kit and ME221 ecu all fabricated, fitted and setup in house, finished with diagnostics and custom map on the rolling road.It was agreed to have the work done staggered in stages, as spreading the cost over a few months would be financially more manageable. At various stages throughout this time I had great difficulty contacting Ricky via Phone calls and WhatsApp messages, most of which were ignored. This did not fill my head with confidence.At no point while the car was in their possession did they make any conscious effort to contact me with a courtesy update ( i say 'courtesy' as i expected nothing more than cars progressing well

Ricky is a complete con artist quotes you one price then ends up being 4x the price at the end and also take 10x longer that he states

STOP/DO NOT USE THIER SERVICE/BUY PARTSPlease do not get your car tuned with Racetech , i got my civic turboed , what a huge mistake that was, lost around 3K and my car was all messed up , no radiator . no speedo , oil leak , cylinders miss timing , broke down while driving back , had to call the AA . HE DID NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY BECAUSE I PAID CASH , not only that, bought a intercooler of their website for my mates EG it was never delivered, i got my money off paypal , PLEASE DO NOT DO ANY WORK WITH HIM OR BUY ANYTHING

Can’t thank Ricky and his team enough, I drove my car down from Aberdeen to get turbo conversion on my b18 del sol. There was a few hiccups on the way and he was quick to have these sorted and my car ready on time. Will be back to him soon for my engine rebuild.
