Severn Edge Vets - Kinver

I am absolutely disgusted with the way Penny the vet has treated my daughter this evening - we usually use Bridgnorth who are fantastic - She was rude abrupt disbelieving accusing my daughter of overdosing on medication. When instructions were followed - my dogs consultation and treatment was carried out with the door open to the waiting room - My daughter was moaned at for not holding my dogs foot firm enough when the vet had an assistant with her - usually in Bridgnorth my dog would have been taken out the back to have his dressings changed and not rely on my daughter to participate - the Vet was completely contradictory to what the vet in Bridgnorth had instructed - for the next appt my daughter asked to go back to Bridgnorth and the receptionist was not helpful on this point - questioning as to why she had an apptAt Kinver in the first place and then huffed when asked to book an appointment in bridgnorth - I might add this appt was in Kinver purely as my daughter is looking after our dog whilst we are away, she works full time and there was not an appt available in Bridgnorth for the time the vet needed our dog to be seen - we will never visit this branch again and be prepared for a written compliant on my return !!!

Took my very old cat in today. Brilliant vet looked him over in detail and tried to help as best she can giving me lots of options not just out for money. First vet I've seen that actually cares about the animals. Would recommend to anyone.

Paid for medication that was advised by the vet, wasn't needed as my pet recovered 'administer if signs of blood and mucus in diarrhoea' , asked for a refund of the unopened medication and they said they will not refund on this item. They are advising on medication on a IF and not a definite diagnosis. When I put my view across the receptionist unprofessionally and rudely put the phone down on me.

Safe to say we will not be returning with our pet.. we have a very nervous dog who hates car journeys and so was quite a handfull when finally we were seen.. after being kept waiting way past our appt time. The vet did not even aknowledge our dog or even attempt to calm or reassure him to ease his examination. Within a few seconds of examining him she asked that we take him out of tge room as he was frantic and very distressed.. we were then told she had no idea what was wrong but was not overly concerned and if we had any future concerns to return with him. Well I can safely say I will not be returning at any point as like so many Pet Owners, our dog is part of our family and it was a distressing time seeing him so upset yet to be asked to pin him down so she could examine him without so much as greeting him which I am sure would have calmed him even if just a little. Ultimately I know her main priority is most probably to get through all her patients as quickly as possible but to us our Dog means everything to and her customer care skills leave much to be desired!!

Great vets with really lovely helpful staff who look after both our cats and our dog Hugo.We have a very travel sick cat who just cannot travel anywhere without being violently ill so Kinver vets even make provision for this by organising home visits for her.As for Hugo our Vizsla he is treated like a star everytime he visits as the staff love him.Can't recommend the people at this vets highly enough.

Got me out of a last minute problem. Where most other vets weren't willing to help, between Kinver & Cleobury Mortimer (especially Sara) they carried out a very professional job at the 11th hour. Many Many Thanks and a thoroughly deserved 5 Stars. Mom and pups are doing well.

We always find the staff are welcoming and the advice is practical and delivered in a friendly professional manner

Great staff, vets were thorough with their examination take all 3 of my animals there and never been disappointed.
