Nice guys, very helpful but after picking my bike up yesterday from them after a fork recall which Cannondale would have paid them for. I was rather surprised for them to say it had a puncture. Then they said it came in with one. I know it didn’t as When I dropped it off I almost rode it in to the shop but couldn’t as it was locked and at this time I couldn’t find the key.Obviously if it did have a flat when I dropped it off then I would have asked them to replace the inner tube for me. There was no mention by me or the guy taking it in at the time of a flat.Yesterday when picking it up I nearly walked in and cycled it back but good job I didn’t. Also when they rang me to say it was ready and then I rang a few days later to say I was on my way why did they not say “by the way it has a puncture”. I would have then had them fix it and would have been quite happy and where the punctured originated from wouldn’t have been an issue. It Seems strange letting someone pick up their bike with a puncture meaning it cannot be used and to me this Is not good customer service. I have now replaced the inner tube with one I had at home and ordered a new one for spare ( they could have had that sale) I am not knocking the shop as a whole as I am sure it is great and this is my first experience of them but I might think twice about using them again. I am looking at buying very soon 2 mountain bikes so they might have lost a good sale. Also a horrible sticker advertising the shop which was half hanging off was put on and I was not impressed, especially as it was very sticky. Rant over.

Review edited (perhaps I was a bit harsh) ...... Ive stepped into this bike store a number of times. They are a store with good products and good bikes to choose from. Their bikes are priced how you'd expect from a high street store. The owner does have allot of knowledge and I'm sure is a great bike mechanic. However I do think they get it wrong when it comes to keeping their customers loyal. I understand everyone needs to make a profit and its a tough world competing with the online market, but I do think they don't quite get the balance and if I'm not making a significant purchase of some sort they're not overly friendly. And I think that's where they get things wrong. Adding to that they appear to forget their customers and forget that I've actually been in there a number of times to get my bikes serviced and have concluded that following a couple of experiences with them, I won't be taking my bikes to them to be serviced again. Work relocation caused me to consider this store for servicing and repairs. I think I will revert back to my previous bike store as the customer service is better there. Its a well presented store with good products. But questionable customer service.

Excellent service. Great bike shop.

I dropped by mid afternoon on a Friday with a buckled wheel & broken spoke that was impeding attempts to cycle the King Alfreds Way. This 'running repair' was fixed while I rested in a local cafe and viewed the Cathedral. Back on the road in under 90minutes. A friendly and good value service for which I'm very grateful.

Pop in today 1/06/23 for a couple of small things and a look at new bikes always got something for everyone at a price that's right. Always helpful best shop for miles around will be back in again soon for e bike service and kids helmet and gloves.

Fantastic service. I broke my derailleur doing the KAW and they had a replacement in stock and fitted it straight away. So I could continue the next day.

I just had my R&M Load 60 e-cargo bike serviced. The staff were great. Despite it being a big bike, they were happy to fit it in and be flexible with the date I'd booked, bringing it forward by a few days. Once I'd dropped it in, I got a phone call to give a summary of the work before it was started. The bike was ready when I needed it back, and not only were all the issues I'd raised addressed, but also the ones I'd forgotten - so nice! The bike now feels in so much better health, and is a joy to ride. A terrific job. Thank you Hayball!

I was passing through Salisbury this morning and I needed some assistance with my bike and I had the pleasure of meeting two absolute gents. John and Drew were nothing but a pleasure. They were efficient and genuinely helpful with any issues I had. I would highly recommend this place for any repairs plus they also have a massive range of cycling supplies plus if in doubt ask Drew he’ll guide you in the right direct. 10/10 and would recommend to a friend

We were on bike trip of 300km with my girlfriend when I got punctured. Ed and his colleagues were especially keen on helping us continue our trip, they managed to find me a pair of wheels and even deployed incredible efforts to make my old pair of wheels travel back to London ! Can’t recommend enough this shop and its team since they literally saved our trip. Thanks again Ed !
