After reading these reviews I felt compelled to also right one. I was also at the tournament and witnessed complete unprofessional behaviour. I wasn’t actually going to right a review as I also felt you didn’t care. I think it’s interesting that after 2 years of not having any new reviews you receive a brutally honest review,all of a sudden you have 6 positive reviews. These people were clearly asked and must be apart of the organisation or the 3 clubs this lady this talking about. She speaks the truth do not waste your time or money.

Don’t even waste your money. Doesn’t matter how good you are same 3 clubs win. Rude staff, was told by the staff they are biased. Refs were from the clubs that win. They even forgot my daughter so she missed out on placing and when we told them they said oh yeah, tough. I would not recommend anyone do this competition!!! It’s definitely isn’t a fair competition and they allow people to get really hurt. The list goes on. Stay well clear.Reply to there response: you keep about 3 clubs happy by handing them golds for just being there that was completely obvious. The reason no one put reviews is because it’s very obvious your not interested. I was told by 4 of you own official it was corrupt. You may provide paramedics but even they weren’t interested. There was a young lad in a terrible state and I had to get them as they were more interested in talking to eachother rather than watching to see if anyone needed help. There experienced refs were members of the clubs entering. They even asked members of the public to ref. If your a novice or actually want them to be fair stay well clear. Will put you off for life. How you have been running for 30 years I do not no. Not a single person from our club or other clubs that have never been there had awful experience. People don’t bother doing reviews because they know they won’t care. Absolute joke. It show how good it was by the lack of people. There may have been 600 people, that included parents and coaches. NOT COMPETITORS!! Shame as it could have been such a different experience. If it was fair I would not have gone out of my way to write this review . It was my daughter’s first fight she was put against a world champion on the fight where she was forgotten. Anyone that has seen the film footage is baffled by the result. Maybe if you actually cared and wanted to be a fair organisation, rather than lying you would actually take things on board and change how you work. I even heard an official telling someone that was competing that if they took the fight because they didn’t have anyone else, they would win just for taking the fight. Crazy !! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

First time at a WUMA event and it was brilliant. Great venue, great organisation and very well run.

WUMA has allowed martial art clubs to actually grow. So I would like to say thank you to Richard Hopkins for his time and patience with myself. Sifu Len Jackson Maroon Fist Association.

My children have been attending these competitions for a couple of years now. Win or lose they always come away having had a good experience and an enjoyable day. The refs in particular are always very kind and patient, taking their time to make sure everyone is OK to fight.

First WUMA event my son attended with his squad was the Nationals 2022 in Worcester held 18th September - absolutely brilliant event, very well organized and had a great day out with family supporting my son and his team! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Looking forward to future WUMA events!
