AR Smiles (formerly The Neighbourhood Dentist)

I've been going to this dentist prior to it becoming AR Smiles so have really seen the changes.It's now a very modern practice with all the technology you could want in the one space.The dentists themselves are kind and empathetic and ensure they explain everything to you.Today I had a wisdom tooth removed and was in and out within 15 minutes and didn't feel a thing.They are great with kids and nervous patients alike.

I recently had a crown fitted by Roshik Patel at AR Smiles and am very pleased with it. While the procedure was a bit uncomfortable at times Dr Patel explained every step and I was impressed with the ease with which he carried it out.I was also impressed with improvements AR Smiles have made to the Practice. I was a patient under the previous management and, while I have no complaints about my treatment there at at all, the refurbishment does inspire confidence which is well deserved in my experience.

Despite being not the biggest fan of going to the dentist, Viraj was brilliant throughout my treatment. Explained in detail what was being done (without being too graphic!) and ensured the treatment- re root canal, was as painless and comfortable as it could be. The tooth already feels stronger and looks much better. Really pleased with my treatment so far and lovely to have a call this morning to check in as to how I’m doing.

I've been coming to this practice for years and always had a great experience. The dentists are friendly and professional and go the extra mile to make my kids relaxed (my son now wants to be a dentist!). The receptionists are also efficient and pleasant. Would def recommend AR Smiles

I’ve not been to the dentist in around 10 years and was really nervous as I knew I needed work done. I had my new patient consultation with Roshik Patel and he was excellent, calmed my nerves and was really clear about the treatment I needed. I went back a few days later for a hygienist appointment which was super quick and was given some helpful tips on how to keep on top of my dental hygiene. Staff are very friendly and chatty, and are transparent about costs throughout. Highly recommend, I’m even looking forward to going back!

A really modern and clean dental practice. From the moment you enter, the staff are so friendly. Dr Gandecha is easily one of the most professional and friendliest dentists I've ever come across. She made me feel at ease, and checked how I was doing throughout my treatment. I was interested in some aesthetic treatments, and she gave me her honest opinion about the treatment I wanted, and recommended a more suitable option for me. Overall, I am very impressed with the service and treatment I received. I will be coming here in the future and will be recommending this practice to all of my friends and family.

We used to be really happy with the orthodontist services at The Neighbourhood Dentist, even recommended them to friends. Then it became AR Smiles... We're having a complete nightmare with our child's orthodontist treatment. It's a long wait for appointments, and several of our appointments have been cancelled, some at very short notice. It is becoming increasingly impossible for us to plan our lives around appointments that may never happen. There also seems to be a lack of communication within the surgery, we're often given conflicting information depending on who you speak to. Would leave straight away if we weren't in the middle of a lengthy treatment.

I have been going to this dentist for years!Since Amy and her husband took over the improvements are astonishing! The practice is now refurbished to a modern, clean and friendly space where the dentists make you feel so at ease and not judged! I highly recommend joining this practice if you are looking for a new dentist or want the best service around! Xxx

For a long time I had a phobia of the dentist but had just become comfortable seeing a specific dentist when the practice was sold. I was extremely worried about seeing a new dentist but from the outset I received a kind and sensitive service and was immediately put at my ease. The dentist tells me exactly what he is going to do so no surprises.The premises are modern and clean and new advanced techniques are being used. The reception staff are attentive and helpful and i would recommend the practice highly.
