Gavin is patient, friendly and most of all knowledgeable in how to get you to practice more without even asking. He has brought my enthusiasm for guitar back l, and I can't wait to progress with my journey.His theory knowledge is brilliant and most of all, relevant to what style I want to play. Gavin is a fantastic instructor. I have started playing the bass and the lessons with him for over a year now, and I can see great improvement in my skills. He is always very encouraging, supporting and explanatory, even if I had no previous experience with music theory or musical instruments. I highly recommend him!

My 12 year old son absolutely loves his guitar lessons with Gavin, and has progressed rapidly in the 15months he has been learning. Gavin is very happy to teach him the tunes he wants to learn, and has helped build his confidence. We highly recommend Gavin!

Gavin is very knowledgeable. He is very patient with kids and my son enjoyes learning electric guitar with him. He is also very communicative to first understand the expectations form the parents and gives lessons in a structured way towards the goals.

Gavin has been my son's guitar teacher for 5 years now and he has been fantastic. He is super patient, tailors lessons to the right level and interests of the learner, and makes the lessons a lot of fun. My son has made so much progress both in terms of exam success but also developing a love for music and a hobby for life. Can't recommend Gavin highly enough, an absolutely first class teacher!

I took up the electric guitar late in life and have both enjoyed my lessons and have been very much assisted by Gavin, both with theory (not too much, but my choice) and his teaching generally. Lessons followed my interests but with professional guidance and have encouraged my continued interest in learning and playing the guitar. Happy to recommend him as a professional and skilled teacher.

We would highly recommend Gavin to anyone! He has taught my son now for many years (and from a very young age) and has managed to not only keep and build his interest over the years but is incredibly encouraging and has the patience of a saint! My son loves his lessons and has told me if he didn't do them with Gavin he wouldn't want to take guitar lessons at all which I think sums it up. We can't thank Gavin enough.
