Lovely Victorian Conservatory with Tearoom & art gallery. The local farmers market is also held there weekly as well as function rooms for hire. Delightful setting overlooking the park, bandstand & river.

A nice little conservatory, the plants seemed looked after, you can go in at the octagon hall (which is worth seeing and one of the largest eight sided rooms in Europe) and walk all the way through, it's all free, worth a visit if you're in the area.

Just walked through the conservatory & shocked to see so many dead plants, bedding areas ripped out to make way for a tacky bar area, tacky 'bird art' where beautiful, mature plants were. My heart broke to see the disgraceful ruination of a delightful area that was always kept to a high standard with stunning plants. There are plenty of bars in Buxton but only 1 public conservatory. \THREE MONTHS ON: Following the petition, work has be done to bring it back up to a wonderful standard!!!!

Buxton Spa Botanical Conservatory
Despite being fully renovated many years ago, the flowers and plants are very well maintained and presented. The place looks fresh and is as warm as a botanical garden should be. Situated next to the Opera House, it's worth a visit if you're in the gardens or close by.
