The docks are run down obviously but nature is taking over, lots of plants etc and a great place for a photo. Be careful though.

It's derelict, and probably not that safe unless you're prepared to take the risk. Some interesting things to see, though.

Completely abandoned. This is not only an important part of the city’s history, but it also hosts a interesting, if small, abandoned buildings, a few crossable bridges, and a surprising amount of greenery. It is however very dangerous. Our dog fell down one of the slides right into a dock. She was got back out and was fine, but could have drowned if things had went differently. This is a fun little place to check out, for some urban exploring, or even a nice picnic by the Clyde, but please be careful, especially with animals.

I love the graving docks, 200 years old and they remind me of ancient Greece. So many people would have left these ports and never returned, I always think about the voyage of such travelers and how Thier life and offspring have made Thier way in the world. The graving docks has excellent street art and genuine marks of old trading companiesThe Elder Trading company appears on a few walls.Elder Trading Ltd

An old piece of important Glasgow history which soon will be converted into flats, amazing to step back in time and see the docks as they were and how the workforce would have gone about their jobs.

what I will say is that it is an aquired taste. If you look at the graffiti and the littering, you will not enjoy this place. However, if you take a moment to look at the scale of the place, and take in the history of what must have gone on once upon a time. plus if you're a kind of abandoned places fan, you'll find the place fascinating and insightful.

Went to check it out as i heard that it might get turned into flats soon. Be careful if you visit as there is glass and some stairs are slightly broken and worn, but if youre able, its definitely worth it to see before the view gets changed forever. Great spot for mural spotting and views of the city-- a really awesome part of the city.
