Holme Cottages

Stayed here for a week and loved the lodge and the peace and quiet. A very nice part of the North East to visit even during the biblical rain storms we experienced. A short 20 minute walk takes you into the village of Longframlington where there's the usual village shops and pubs.

A nice area to book a cottage, clean and tidy inside. Good views. Sofa needs to be changed, sitting down too low.

Excellent lodges!! I visited two years ago when they were pretty new and they were well decorated and clean.... Two years later they are in the same state. Obviously the owners keep up and redecorate regularly which these days is a rarity. I strongly recommend these lodges for a stay in a wonderful part of the country. Dog friendly with all the amenities (disabled friendly) you need such as washing machine, dishwasher, two bedrooms, lovely shower and bath, limited utensils. We'll done Sally and Gavin.

Fabulous lodge. Immaculate, Spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable.Great location for all that Northumberland can offer.Perfect for those with dogs. Great enclosed garden.

Beautifully kept holiday cottages. Everything sparkling clean and a welcome bottle of wine and fresh flowers. Pet friendly, lots of grass area right outside to exercise the dog, even a torch provided for dark nights. Little street lighting nearby so you can see the stars very clearly and the Milky Way. Very quiet too. Fan oven, fridge freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine provided. A bit dark in late September to walk to the pub but found a good chip shop in Rothbury about 5 miles away. Lovely place, we'll be back.

Just returned from a week's stay at Holme farm cottages. What lovely cottage ours was. Everything looked brand new except what everyone seems to mention, the sofa has you sitting on the floor lol.The bathroom and shower are to die for, as is the kitchen area which has a dishwasher, wash and drying machine and, of course the fridge freezer. Everything you need is there. Our only gripe was that there wasn't a dishcloth but, that may have been an oversight. We loved every minute of our stay and, so did our dogs in the massive dog exercise field. We are looking to go back next September to carry on exploring the area. Thank you Sally and Gavin.
