Very bad service from this housing association and some staff non proffesional when you approach them. They home racist anti social tenents who has been kicked out from previous housing and rehoused by this housing association in our multi cultured neighbourhood. Disturbing everyone causing damaged to people properties and vehicals. I would not recommend anyone to decide to go with this housing association. Very bad group and service.

I moved into one of cchas properties last November and at my first meeting with ccha I was told I would have plenty of support from them as I had just left a hostel and needed support to help me live independently. They said they would assign me a support worker and I could go to them if I was having any issues. It's now July and despite following it up several times I still do not have a support worker. Also, I have been experiencing problems with my neighbour at first it was solely him having people round late at night and making lots of noise I contact ccha anti social department 3 times and nobody got back to me, I then sent in a complaint to ccha about them not getting back to my regarding my neighbour and they emailed back saying they would get back to me but that never happened. A couple months passed, my neighbour is still being loud late at night but now has started harassing me banging on my door and yelling in the middle of the night. This resulted in me having to phone the police to come out and deal with. I spoke with the police about his behaviour and they decided it was harassment and they said they would give him a warning. So I rang my housing officer to inform her of the situation and explain that I do not feel safe in my own home anymore. She answered really rudely and sounded very irritated with me telling me asking me what I expected her to do and treating me lile an inconvenience, eventually she said okay I guess I can ring up your neighbour and tell him to stop" very reluctantly. Anyway

Awful organisation, please avoid.Their staff are absolutely beyond useless. They can’t even maintain their buildings and I mean even basic things like window cleaning.Furthermore, they’re extremely unprofessional. Their staff struggle to take down or comprehend basic information, then they don’t do anything, so you can typically let them know about an issue and they’ll not do anything. You then typically contact them again and they don’t even act surprised or treat it with any matter of urgency.Their flats tend to be overly-hot which makes living uncomfortable. They have a fixation with health and safety and use this to abdicate any responsibility for acting on most issues but then you’ll see how their moron tenants abuse fire exits right under CCTV which they do nothing about. In fact, this forms part of a wider problem. CCHA have zero control over their tenants, many of who cause trouble and can’t behave. CCHA’s answer to everything is more control, like most leftist organisations, they’re obsessed with raw power over people as a whole, rather than logical targeting of those who are at fault. The levels of incompetence are masqued with a veneer of respectability. If you reported someone to CCHA for say anti social behaviour, their response would likely be to send the whole block of residents the same generic letter about how they should behave, thus treating everyone as a potential wrongdoer, rather than diligently dealing with the actual problem. CCHA have a new top dog now and his first communication with tenants was to send them a threatening letter about how important window restrictors are and how removing them would result in punishment. It was worded much like how an oppressive Head Master would speak to misbehaving children.Essentially, to CCHA, tenants are just numbers and an inconvenience. They promote lots of ethical-sounding, virtuous rhetoric on their site but they don’t actually care. They’re also obsessed with being politically correct and culturally Marxist which comes above all else. Just look at their Twitter account and see how they obsess over things like “Pride” and other PC virtue-signals.In the world of this loony left organisation, certain things are very important such as gay pride virtue signalling on social media and being seen as being diverse, along with obsessive health and safety but actual results for tenants, putting their needs first, tackling anti social behaviour and delivering aren’t very important at all. Most of the staff at CCHA wouldn’t last two minutes in the private sector in which you have to be accountable for your work and are judged on your merits.

I totally agree!absolutely beyond useless, robot's and red tape.Pegasus think cleaning is rocket science,I can do better job myself, too busy chatting, smoking an Ecigarette apparantly on break but for longer than they spend on their attempt at cleaning.Maintenance sucks,14wks and 10 ppl to change a light bulb is the analogy I'd use.Disgraceful.Don't understand how there's a housing crisis when there's all types available to help the poor refugees etc.they must be left with such inadequate conditions too.All in all 'social housing' a contradiction in terms.

Ive been with ccha just over a year and during that time ive needed to call them numerous times. Perhaps around 20. Apart from 1 occasion when i asked for my housing officer to return my call and it didnt happen, ive always been delighted with ccha. My calls are always answered by a friendly voice. Nothing is too much trouble and i always finish speaking to them feeling satisfied. When we originally moved in the chap helping us was amazing and went some way beyond his job description to help us. Thank you ccha for my nice home.
