I recently dined at Pepe's and was somewhat disappointed with the experience. While the food quality was decent, the prices were quite steep. What struck me as particularly disappointing was the portion size of the family meal. It only included one portion of rice, which was definitely not sufficient for two people. Given the prices, I expected a more generous serving that would cater to a family. Overall, I found Pepe's to be too pricey for the portion sizes offered in their family meals.

Very good service and the food was excellent. The government's Eat out to Help out scheme really paid off. Received 50% off a £60 meal.Pros:- plenty of parking available outside- plenty of seating space - has both downstairs and upstairs- food was very tasty- fast serviceCons:- due to the busy nature of the restaurant the tables aren't always clean but the staff do clean when requested.

Pepe’s Peri Peri MK has certainly won us over with their delicious food! The chicken is simply amazing—juicy, bursting with flavor, and oh-so-tender. The fries are an absolute delight, and their signature sauce is a true winner. The rice with grilled chicken is a personal favorite; it's a tasty and satisfying meal.However, while the food is top-notch, we did notice some room for improvement. The wings, though good in taste, come in smaller sizes than expected.In terms of service, we've explored all three options—dine-in, take-out, and delivery. Take-out or collection has been our best experience so far. With delivery, there were instances where the order wasn't packed correctly. Dining in, while enjoyable, didn't offer a top-notch service experience.Despite these minor hiccups, Pepe’s Peri Peri remains a go-to spot for mouthwatering chicken dishes that never disappoint.

I was given the wrong order twice from two different brunches including the one in mk, I got home to find they gave me chicken instead of paneer so couldn’t eat it. I rang up and they said to come back and they will give me two meals so was grateful they was willing to sort it. When I went back a week later to the store they was quick to sort it but then they left me sat there for over half an hour. (the food was already done) but they forgot about me so the food was stone cold and I had to take it home to reheat.

Pepe's has really gone downhill and it is very disappointing. Every time we go recently, something is poor or incorrect about the order or food. I have held off leaving a bad review but it has just been too many disappointing takeaways now. We spend a lot of money at Pepe's and the food isn't exactly cheap to begin with. The least you could do is to make our food well. I can make bad food at home for a lot less than you charge. The staff ask us what flavour we would like and then we end up with no flavour at all, sometimes on multiple items in an order. Imagine getting home and finding you have been given plain chicken and plain rice with no sauce or flavour. Takeaway ruined - and paying through the teeth for it. We order large meal with large drinks from the fountain, the staff try to fob us off with cans, and then get funny about it when we say we ordered and paid for large drinks. Every time we go these days, our order comes wrong. We shouldn't have to get everything out of the bag and check each item to make sure it's made correctly. I won't be going to Pepe's anymore, there are plenty of other options for Piri Chicken, where food is made well, customer service is the standard and not a burden, and more care is taken with customers orders.

You are better off cooking at home because you will be waiting for an hour. No care from customer service how you feel, absolutely awful. What’s actually the purpose of fast food if service if service is this slow?

Yesterday me and my friends walked into the store and ordered the family meal and an additional burger and went shopping at the shop next door.We came back and saw our food ready on the tray. My friend who had the token slip was in the washroom. Seeing the food getting cold, the remaining two of us told the young Asian person that it is our food. This person immediately removed the tray from our hand's reach and started questioning us like we were thieves. The lady who was from Bangalore (we had a 10 sec chat while the order was taken)who took our order was standing next to this person and she recognised us and told him it's our food!!.But this guy asked her to Shut up!!.He asked us to list out the items we ordered, the drinks, the dips, flavor of fries, etc. Still he wasn't happy with us.I feel unhappy for being judged and for being questioned for 27 pound worth food and even after his colleague confirmed it is our food, he kept on going like he gets a filthy gratification out of it.All three of us work in the food industry and we understand his situation. But there's a way to speak to a customer. This person needs training and needs to tone down a bit. This is not the way to deal with customers. Customers won't come back if they feel insulted!.I have worked in UAE and had food from Pepe's branch in Motorcity. It was an amazing experience. But this branch disappointed me only because of the service.Note: Food was really good and we want to come back, but don't want to be served by him unless he gets proper training.
