The Newcastle Dog Trainer

We contacted the South Shields Dog Trainer when we were having difficulties with our XL Bully Tyson. Our main difficulty was that he was over friendly with other animals and so he would pull, lie down and refuse to move. We worked collaboratively with Jaake across 5 sessions and got a lot of tips, techniques and methods to help us to deal with these difficulties. By the end of the 5 sessions, Tyson has made massive improvement and it has also helped with our anxieties and improved our confidence with him. We are so grateful to have worked with Jaake who has been so patient, open minded and non-judgemental. It is the best decision we ever made for our little puppy and we can’t wait to continue to put into practice everything we have learnt and can’t wait to see Tyson just get better and better. Loki our Patterdale was 7 months old when we took him on and we decided training was our best option to get the best iut of him. He has enjoyed his puppy classes. Our trainer was very knowledgable and always on hand to answer any questions. Great that we can access things even after the classes have finished.. Thank you

We signed up for the 6 week puppy class The South Sheilds dog trainer( we attened a Newcastle class). We had the pleasure of having Jaake as our trainer. Albie our 6 month old french bulldog found this class enjoyable and we loved the fact that everything was broken down and explained to us. Jaake is extremly knowledgeable and excellent at what he does (Albie is certainly a fan of Jaake) what appealed to us is that when you sign up to there 6 week course you arn’t just 6 getting weeks of training then sent on your merry way, you also get access to the training dashboard for life so we can always go back and look at videos etc, plus access to the facebook group where we can ask questions. There is continous support and that is what you want, as some companies take your money do the training and that’s it, with no ongoing support. I would 100% be recommending The South Sheilds dog trainer to friends and family.

Just had my first session today with Denise and she was brilliant, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. After just this first session I already feel more confident and really look forward to our next appointment. I can't recommend this company highly enough. Thanks Denise.

We’ve only had one session so far but from the first phone call with Nathan to completing our first session with Denise everything has been great and we’re now working towards having a calmer dog! Denise was great with Zion during his first session and gave us so many tips on how to keep him under control on walks etc. She has also been great at keeping in touch after the session and sending us information about everything going on with XL’s at the minute! We can’t wait to keep going with these sessions and see how much Zion comes on with his training! We’re already seeing a difference!

Sarah was brilliant had working dogs for years, flummoxed by my first pet Bichon Frise. Learnt a lot, looking forwards to the next session. Amazing how one tweak to what I was already doing re them both barking at strangers via huge bay window made such a difference.Not the cheapest but worth every penny. Can see after one session why they are award winning.

Jason is a fantastic trainer who really understands dogs and owners alike. The classes are relaxed and judgement free and Archie just loved being there! I will be recommending these classes to everyone.

Excellent sessions from a really knowledgeable trainer. Our little frenchie loves the sessions and you can always tell he’s enjoyed them by the smile on his face just as he’s falling asleep from all the excitement.

Great service from first contact through to the 6 sessions we had with Denise for our beloved Golden Doodle. Pablo is a lockdown boy and had missed the normal training classes that we would have liked to attend if timing had been different. He had picked up some habits and reactivity that were causing us and him a great deal of worry. Denise was fantastic both with Pablo and ourselves. She has taught us a huge amount and has been super supportive. Her knowledge is outstanding and our sessions were fun as well as being incredibly informative and effective.
