The Lobster Pot
Was not bad the sandwiches for children was so overpriced £9.50 and it was basic. It should be half the price. Considering kids Meals were £10.50 with dessert. The burger was fine the crab as a salad was ok. I understand these being a bit pricey because of the location etc..

A lovely welcoming place with a great menu variety to suite the whole family! The views are lovely here and worth sitting and taking them in while eating. A gift shop is incorporated within the restaurant with some nice gift ideas to take home with you.

Lovely views of the ocean. I enjoyed a big English breakfast. I wouldn't recommend the latte however I enjoyed the pot of tea made on real tea leaves. All considered, a very pleasant experience.

Stopped for a afternoon cream team.Excellent service from friendly helpful staff, lovely cafe with beautiful 'tourist' shop. The cream teas was delicious and great value, spotlessly clean and modern. The views of the sea are just amazing.Look forward to visiting again soon

Me and my family went here for some breakfast this morning and the food was lush, the employees were lovely and very attentive and patient. The toilets were nice and clean which is always a bonus, and we also spent some money in the gift shop loads of Portland items and gemstones. Amazing experience will definitely be going again.

Getting more expensive for smaller portions over the years.Come on! £12.50 for a crab sandwich on relatively thin bread, a few crisps and very small amount of salad leaves.£6.20 for pot of tea for two with small cups. All this does is scares the locals off. I probably won't go again.CRABS are not in short supply!

Just what we needed after a bracing walk around Portland Bill. Lovely welcoming restaurant with attentive staff and great food. Fantastic views over the cliffs and Bay too.

The lobster potWhen entering the warm and cosy feeling cafe we was greeted with smiles and offered different tables around the restaurant as we was a group of 4 adults and 2 kids. The lovely waitress seated us and we was given ample time to read the menus. We was then greeted by another waitress who took our orders with a smile and NO NOTEPAD. She had a tremendous memory for our order. We ordered 2x Kids fun lunch bag £9.50 each. It Ham/cheese/Tuna or Jam sandwich, crisps, fruit, yogurt, juice ( apple or orange), crayons and activity sheet.I ordered the Fresh crab sandwich with seeded batch bread and crisps £12.50. The crab was lovely and fresh and went well with the seeded bread was a perfect lunch option well worth the money and was served with a lovely little garnish 9/10.I also ordered the Whole tail scampi served with chips and peas £15.95. The scampi was absolutely delicious and well battered. The chips was a disappointment and there was only a few good chips and the rest was scraps and clumped together this was a shame. The peas was cooked well and complemented the dish 7/10.Pudding I ordered the stick toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream £6.50. This pudding was absolute heaven the portion was a very good dive and the ice cream was like Mr Whippy it was smooth and creamy. An easy 10/10.I ordered the Draught Cider 4.5 ABV 1/2 pint £2.95 and Pint £5.75. This cider had a crisp apple taste but was a little on the dry side of ciders. It would be nice to know the brand of cider and offer more ciders.
