I had a pair of Grenson's brogues that were in need of some soles and heels and a bit of tlc. I was amazed at how good they were after this craftsman had worked on them. They look and feel amazing. Highly recommended.

Took in a pair of old and tired (vintage) Loake brogues to get soled and heeled. I know he has a reputation for being a great cobbler but the transformation of my shoes is nothing short of a miracle. 10/10

Have been a customer of Alan over the years and have always found him a nice guy who does a very good job. More recently I went into store and he cut some keys for me for a car and after an error on my side, Alan was happy to not only recut the keys but did not charge me despite me insisting. Really good guy who is a perfect example of why we should all support local businesses. Cheers again Alan!

Proper cobbler. Full range of services. Fair prices.You'll have to pay upfront but that wouldn't worry anyone who intends to actually pay for a repair as opposed to leaving stuff there and deciding not to go and collect and pay for the work.

I have had a number of pairs of shoes repaired by the guys, Cheaney , Paul Smith and quite a few pairs from my other half. The advice and the work is remarkable, great work and always a very fair price. Got quality shoes take my advice and stay away from the like of Timpsons , you will never get close to the quality - these guys in Jarrow deliver.
