wow! do they take long term bookings? i'm thinking 2 to 4 years minimum while i adjust back to life on the outside.could be just the place i need if i'm feeling lonely and nostalgic and that room is kind of familiar.no problem with the idea of the employee lettin himself into my room but that could just be me.come on in sit on the end of the bed bud and tell me all about u!

This isn’t even fit for animals. Shouldn’t be allowed to house anyone. The moment we stepped into the room we knew the score. Its not a hotel, its a barn. Think a crime scene from the west’s house in Gloucester. Sinister stuff.

All facilities where disgusting, the place stunk of cannabis, really poor customer service and when the question of the cannabis smell was asked I was then spat at in my face, trading standards and environmental health have been informed. Worst stay in hull! Absolutely disgusting! Be aware of this place, not a chance is it worth the money paid!

Clean tidy room not cold at all the bathroom was spotless the only issue was with the taps but soon sorted them. Will definitely be back again soon

Very very basic. No towel in room so went and bought my own. When i did get one it had blue stained dye on it.Discarded sweet wrappers in bedside cabinet. Asked for a bin to put these in and was told to use a carrier bag! Did eventually get a bin.Towel rail coming off the wall. Toilet seat didn't fit. Shower was attached to the taps and the hose was too small it wouldnt move up the rail.Bed very uncomfortable and felt every spring on the mattress.There was someone's vehicle document dating back to 2010 in one of the drawers in chest of drawers.Karaoke until midnight Friday and Saturday and as I was above the bar the TV didn't even drown out the sound it was so loud.There was a fridge/freezer in the room and the freezer compartment was dirty.The most disturbing thing was the kettle. It was covered in mould inside the lid and spout. No cups or spoons provided to make a drink and you have to buy your own tea, coffee etc.Parking is waste ground behind the hotel/shops and is locked at night which was the only bonus.

Possibly the worst place I have ever stayed. The room i was given was terrible the mattress felt like they got it off the street i could feel every spring It was pretty painfull to sleep in. Also the on suete that was in the room was something that needs to be addressed. I had a shower but no shower curtain so the floor would be soaked if i attempted a shower. luckily it was a mixer tap so there was a bath also. I was given only 1 towel so getting out of the bath wet and standing on to tiled floor was pretty treacherous to say the least. One night i was sat in my room watching tv when i heard a clicking noise coming from my door ( all doors are coded ) i turned round and an employee had opend my door to come in my room to my shock he quickly apologized after he saw me. His answer to what he was doing was that it was on their board that this room was un occupied. I also had to pay a £10 deposit to get a key to get out of the hotel before 9am as i was away working. The key i was given didnt even work luckily i tried it the night before otherwise i would have been late as there was no1 on site to let me out. Stay at this place as a last resort this is just my opinion others might be different

Room was very cold, central heating not working, had a small electric heater that done done nothing. Bed was hard, wasn’t very clean and there was a bad smell. Not worth the cheap price. Left and booked into another hotel.

Well well well. This hotel is an interesting one. You have to enter by the pub entrance. The sheets were dirty. The mattress was stiff one end of the bed and soft at the other.I found rubbish lying about in the cupboards. The shower was cold and there's little to no sleep until 23:00.The fire alarm was non existant.Now the fun part was trying to leave. There was no mention of a 10:00 forced checkout time. There was no one about to let me out.So if escaping through the fire door and climbing over a 10ft spiked fence gets you going. Pick this place.If you're staying in Hull. Don't go cheap :)

It wasn't so bad like other say. My room was clean, my towel and my bed was clean aswell. There's still a lot of things to be improoved but aniway, you can't have high expectation from a 2 stars hotel.

Where do I start?! Above a dingy pub, carpets throughout are beyond threadbare, it looked more like a halfway house inside, no TV in the room, bare bathroom, tatty little fridge and the cups didn't match, wouldn't have a problem if one didn't say 'worlds greatest grandad' the photos online are catfish photos! When trying to check in, no one knew what was going in, they didn't know the previous people had checked out and there was no key for the side door that I had to pay a £10 deposit for, I wasn't informed of this prior, this was through no fault of the staff who were amazing. I only gave 2 stars because of the room being clean, with a lick of paint, new carpets and a TV in each room this could be so much better
