Isle of Wight Theatretrain

My son has been going to TT's sessions for the last couple of years. Fantastic teachers and students that have helped my son to become more confident, and enjoy performing.So many opportunities to perform on stage and work with professionals in the industry!!200% recommend!

Both Lily and Finn were really interested to join Theatretrain and see what it was all about as soon as they found out about it. They have loved everything about it; learning new skills, meeting and enjoying lots of different new children and adults, and most of all having loads of fun and doing new things and sharing new experiences. It is a mark of how much they love Theatretrain that they have really enjoyed and thrown themselves into the online sessions too, and we are really grateful that they are part of such a great group. We are sure they will continue to enjoy it and get a huge amount from it; thank you very much to you all.

I can not praise the IOW Theatretrain team enough. My son (9years old) has always been very dramatic, singing and dancing all the time, but is not confident.He decided that he was ready to join a group, but knew he would struggle that first time. He did! I had to put him in the room and make a run for it. When I went to collect him, not only had he not tried to escape, but he came out beaming.He has just performed in his first show A World of Colour, in a real theatre (Shanklin Isle of Wight) and totally smashed it. I am so proud and so very grateful. The team are so supportive, positive and encouraging.

Theatretrain Isle of Wight has been absolutely fantastic for our children. They have loved and still love every moment of their time there, the teachers are absolutely fantastic. Even during this and the previous lockdown, they have managed to keep the TT magic alive via weekly Zoom.sessions; it has been the one contant thing the children have had to look forward to this year. Can't recommend Theatretrain Isle of Wight enough.

I have a child with Down syndrome and he could not have been more accepted, loved and supported then he is at theatretrain Isle of Wight! From understanding his needs, giving him time out and quiet when he needs it and supporting him getting up onto the stage! From students to teachers I couldn’t ask for better! Best choice sending him here!

Theatretrain IOW has been a remarkable experience for my daughter. She has been attending for two years and in that time has grown in confidence and ability hugely. Staff are professional, enthusiastic and exceptionally talented at getting the very best out of their students. Every student is made to feel welcome and part of the Theatretrain family. It is a real joy watching the children come to life on stage during professional productions, and to see how much fun they have is a real source of happiness for every parent.

Theatretrain Isle of Wight have just put on an amazing “World of Colour” show. The students have so much talent and you could see from all their happy smiling faces how much they enjoyed performing.Saturday is the only day of the week our daughter jumps out of bed! She has made so many friends and has the best time every week. She’s allowed to express herself as all of the teachers are so caring, supportive and encouraging. Can’t wait for the next show.

My daughter has been attending Theatretrain IOW for nearly a year now and the confidence she now has in performing is amazing. The dance techniques she has learnt are so professional and even down to her posture seems to have improved. I was initially concerned that the classes would be too serious compared to what she had done previously but the teachers are really supportive and the seriousness is creating a bunch of super talented, confident young people for which they should be very proud.

Our daughter has been at TheatreTrain for two terms and has really enjoyed it. The staff are professional and supportive - encouraging her through her stage fright and ensuring she has had a positive experience throughout. She has grown in confidence and made new friends.At IOW TheatreTrain every child gets the chance to improve their skills, perform and shine.
