We do our weekly shopping here. Nice staff and selections. But you do need to avoid this place when it’s busy because the round about can get horrible

Really heavily on self service checkouts. Its not any quicker using self service you have to wait for someone to come over to take security tags off, wait again for a member of staff to authorise something when the scales do not recognise you have put item in the bag, there's not a lot of room to place multiple bags, its busy around you so you cant move around. Then you have to scan your receipt to get out. I prefer to be served by a real person when doing a full shop which keeps people in a job.

Huge shout out to Toni and Izzy who saved the day last night! They was so helpful and polite and couldn't do enough for us.An extra thank you to Toni who stayed at least 20 mins after her shift had finished to help us. She said she didn't want to leave until we were happy customers, Toni literally went out of her way to help us.Thanks so much guys!

Like a prison, scan yourself, security check yourself… what next stack ten items on the shelf before you can bag one?Customer service lost along with all the computers being rolled out, not an enjoyable customer experience for what used to be a top end store! I bet the shareholders are loving the cut backs on staffing costs in replacement of machines, we’re not going to generate any taxable income from a machine…Won’t be returning

Two bad experiences recently. Looking for a bottle of dessert wine and asked 2 staff members, who could not help as it was not their department ~ fair enough. I thanked them for their time. Finally a staff member came along and started unpacking wines. I asked her if she worked in the wine department and she said yes". I then proceeded to ask her if she knew where the bottles of dessert wine were kept. She didn't even look up

Don't bother, unless you are desperate, just don't bother! First off on a Wednesday, the car park seems to full of slow drivers not helped by an unclear car park, it would be much better to have a separate entrance and exit. Secondly don't do Smart Scan shopping for the simple reason you have to scan your receipt to get the gates to open. Having place the barcode one way, then the other then an inch away, two inches away, directly on the scanner, it doesn't work. So Sainsburys if you need to have a member of staff come across to help shoppers every time, why not abandone the scanner and employ someone full time to be there in the first instance - utterly pointless!

Customer service WHAT customer service. More self service tills and less served check out tills. No served check out tills before 09.00 as confirmed by supervisor today. Customers want to be served by a human being and the customer is always right, not any more!

Large store with wide range of groceries and other goods. Cheap petrol station which is usually busy and it can be slow to exit the retail park at peak times.
