We had a very pleasant stay during our visit at Lincoln. The hotel is well maintained. Our room was clean. Location is fantastic, situated between the castle and the cathedral. The price was also quite reasonable. Highly recommended!

I never usually write reviews but we have just had an appalling experience after visiting the White Hart for years. We only ordered 4 coffees, it was relatively busy but not overly and they had plenty of staff to cover. It took a while to take our order but we appreciated that sometimes it happens. Eventually, about 20minutes after ordering, they brought out half of our order & advised that the other 2 coffees would be coming shortly. We waited another 20 mins and still had no coffees, our other 2 friends had already finished theirs. We mentioned to a staff member that we didn’t have our coffees but we had seen at least 5 tables who had come in after us get served their coffees before we got the other half of our order. We were advised that they only had one coffee machine. Fair enough, but complete our order before you start making other people’s orders? We went up to complain to which a very rude member of staff said they were very busy in an aggressive manner & rolled her eyes at my mother. At no point did anyone come over to apologise about the whole situation and the service was disgusting. The place can’t even handle making 4 cups of coffee. We will never be going back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else either. Very poor.

We had a room with a view of the cathedral which was so lovely, the bells are very very audible so if you are looking for a lie in bring ear plugs. But we didn't mind.Staff were helpful and the room was lovely, very big and comfy bed. My only gripe was the water pressure was naff meaning the shower wasn't great but it really wasn't too big of a gripe.

Fabulous hotel in the middle of the old part of the city. Staff were brilliant, and we felt very well looked after. Would very much recommend!

Had a Christmas party here. For £40 the food 3 course meal very good value. The starter was very small, the main course was nicely cooked but the veg was served in a desert bowl for 3 people and only 1 sprout between 3, they are having a laugh. My pud cheese and biscuits were good but those who had Xmas pud the size was very small, not very good value. The room was comfortable but there was no heating on a cold December evening. The radiator didn't work even after I turned it up high. The furniture is tired with chips missing out of a lot of it. The location was brilliant looking out on Lincoln castle walls and the cathedral. The car part was good and secure. All in all I would go there again but for a posh hotel don't expect it to be the best.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Round the corner from the cathedral and castle. The room we had was spacious however, we were the floor below the refurbishments that is currently going on in the building which got quite noisy and woke us up in the morning. Also, it would be ideal if more information was in the room/told upon check in (eg WiFi, Room Service Menu and general hotel information such as menus for the restaurant/bars that are in the hotel). The staff were friendly and helpful with any queries. In addition to this, the breakfast was great and the newly refurbished restaurant was well decorated and felt contemporary. Definitely not a bad experience, has potential to be a really great hotel and will hopefully revisit once fully refurbished.

In need of total refurbishment. We had requested a quiet room but were allocated one close to air conditioning units. Additionally, the external fire escapes had strong lights that stayed on all night. However, a good location and enjoyable breakfast.
