I discovered this restaurant a couple of years ago and it's surely my favourite. The salmon cut never disappointed, the staff are always friendly and service is great. The front of the house is very nice and cozy and both front and back are always perfectly clean. If like me you like a good salmon sushi and a nice and friendly environment, try this place. Just remember to bring cash (ATM is 2 Min away) and a nice bottle of wine if you like, as alcohol is not served here.

Fantastic food! Extremely tasty. I love the chicken katsu curry from here, it tastes super authentic! The sushi is also a must try.

Delicious Japanese food. We ordered far too much! Tempura was lovely and light and crispy. Dragon Roll was a masterpiece. Everything we had was perfect. Note it’s cash only and unlicensed but they do BYOB.

Insanely great quality of food! Great authentic sushi and sashimi. Hidden gem which does not catch the eye. Service is great. Cash only but that is absolutely fine. No alcohol is served but you can bring your own drink/bottle and they charge a very very small fee per person (sth like £2). Prices are very reasonable. Probably one of the best honest sushi in the UK.

Best fresh sushi in Edinburgh in my opinion. Make sure to bring cash, place is a cash only payment. Food they serve is perfect. Nice atmosphere. Easily one of the best.

Good food, good atmosphere and above all is great staff. The main waitress behind the counter is not only attentive but also friendly. Excellent service tbh. Have nothing to complain. NOTE: it's cash only

I checked this place on Google Map since they have amazing reviews. Once I sat there I can’t agree more!!!!Nice sushi and rolls!! I suggest you try their Chef’s recommendation dishes.Staff was really nice and friendly. I feel very welcomed. I was very impressed with their services!!!I need to come back here again.

Good food and friendly staff. Just make sure you either carry cash or can do bank transfer as they don’t accept card payments. I would recommend takoyaki, duck spring rolls, California roll and chicken katsu ramen.

Everything we had a Chizuru Tei was delicious!The sushi was beautifully presented. It took a little while to come out but they did say this on the menu as there is only one chef who makes all the sushi by hand.We had a mix of sushi and big plates. The big plate we had was the chicken teppanyaki which was very filling.The plates were very good quality for very good value.The only thing to note is that it is cash only however there are cash machines at Haymarket you can use nearby.Would recommend and want to go back!

The food is great and the staff are friendly. Totally great value for the price.We were alerted when we walked in that they are cash only restaurant, we had some cash, so it was not an issue for us.They also don't serve any alcohol, but that is also perfectly fine for us.
