Unprofessional!!!Double checked the part number million times over the phone. Got someone to come out and travel for 5 hours to get the part on an urgent basis..on my surprise the part was still wrong when it arrived back with different numbers even though the guy on the phone double checked the numbers with me to make sure its correct and they still sent the wrong one. If they wanted extra money they could have asked for it but should have not messed someone up who's put in effort to come down and get it off from far away as badly needed on an urgent basis. Left us stranded for the whole weekend!!

I have not used A P Diesels, but purely from a customer service prospective. I spent a matter of minutes explaining my dilemma to Danny and he listened and pointed me in the direction he believed would get my problem sorted. Thank you for listening.

I took my car to these guys because it was running rough on a cold start, misfiring and smoking with only two weeks to go before a family holiday. By the end of the week they had sorted it out for me and although it was a fairly expensive bit of work it runs much smoother now so they clearly know what they're doing. They even managed to diagnose another problem for me that two garages had failed to figure out, without me even asking them to!

My experience with AP diesel. Car FORD FIESTA TDCI 1.4 2006. Symptoms; rough idling, engine management light on, limp mode. When scanned with forscan OBD software resulted in error code P0192 – fuel pressure sensor low output. Took the car to AP diesel for diagnostic at a charge of £90. They phoned me saying all 4 solenoids on my injectors were faulty and they would need to remove all 4 injectors for testing at a cost of £400. If I needed any injectors replacing they would charge me £120 each. Totalling costs of over £1000’s to change all four injectors. At that point I paid the £90 diagnostic test and took my car away. I did not even get a diagnostic test result piece of paper to document the errors to my injectors. When I asked for the results all they said were the injector solenoids were out of normal range. Terrible customer service, they did not even offer to drive me to the train station when I dropped my car there.Subsequently removed the injectors myself and took them to Peter Strong diesel specialists in Reading to get them tested at £12 each. He stated all 4 injectors had low fuel output at 2ml per second and the normal output was 4.5-6ml per second at idle. He stated all 4 injectors would need replacing at £175 per injector. No test sheet provided, and did not explain how the injectors became faulty, not a lot of help really.I was not happy with his diagnosis so took the injectors to LYNX diesels in Reading. He also stated all 4 injectors were blocked and had low fuel output and would charge me £120 per injector to change the nozzles and this would correct the problem.Solution:I purchased 4 new nozzles from Darwen diesels at £140 including delivery, swapped out the nozzles and placed them back into the car. When testing the old nozzles I found only 2 of the 4 nozzles were blocked! As I had 4 new nozzles I replaced all the injectors with new nozzles. When I used forscan again I had the same error code P0192! After some googling, a weeks’ worth I found an article which said the connector to the fuel pressure sensor deteriorates and can cause this error code. After testing the connector with a multi meter I found the problem. Purchase a used second hand wiring harness of eBay and solved the problem!!!With the change of injector nozzles the car idles quieter and the fuel economy became better, so the blocked nozzles did effect the cars performance, economy and noise levels. A job worth doing.So far after 1000 miles the car is running perfectly.

Reconditioned 3 of my injectors on my hilux at a very reasonable price, after fitting the solenoid failed on one, so I returned it and they put another solenoid on free of charge that same day.Very professional and reassuring I highly recommend AP diesels and will use in the future if needed.

Worst company. Rude grey headed old guy, Von. He does not know how to talk to people. He knows absolutely nothing about customer service. He seems a very unhappy guy in his personal life. He tried to rip us off but when we asked him not to carry out any works, he couldn't take it and delayed giving our car back. Worst mechanic we have ever seen. Bad loser

Bough a injector from this company,the injector wasn't the right one for my car and I decided to return this back to them. They agreed said would refund the money back. Unfortunately they haven't returned me the full amount back as they think that I have given them the old one or have used it when I haven't . I paid for this 216 pounds. THEY REFUND ME 36 POUNDS. I have lost 180 pounds that this company owns me. Also, the seller told me to give him my card details when I called up to check if they had this object and that there was no need to pay through pay pall. PLEAS BE CAREFUL WITH THIS SELLER, wouldn't want to lose money for some stupid reason. Thanks

Purchased a Fuel pump from them on an exchange unit basis, fitted new unit and the vehicle wouldn't run after sending the pump back and forwards being tested my mechanic finally figured out that they had supplied the right pump but wrong regulator they then got us to send the reg back and said it was fine and correct, After much chasing (they never return calls) i gave up purchased the reg from Main dealer and it fired right up, meaning the reg was incorrect ! cost me the sale of the vehicle and alot of my time chasing them, I wouldn't recommend.

I DON'T RECOMMENDI've sent my 6 injectors for testing , I have to say customer service was very pleasant however not very helpful, I asked twice to send me testing results on my email sadly they failed to do so , I received phone call that all 6 injectors need replacing so I asked again to give me results so I can decide what to do , didn't happened.I was fed up with that situation so I thought if I have to pay for testing I will trust them and replace for new one(NEW INJECTORS, THAT WHAT THEY SAID ), I received refurbished(i thought if they work like new , that's what they said, i wont make problems) ones fairly quick, but one of them had broken plastic where is written code for adapting this injector to ecu, so I called APdiesels again very pleasant service but not helpful , I said if you have picture or some information about this injector just pas it to me and problem solved I don't have to send you this injector back they said we will call you back, I left my contact details and never heard anything back.So I was stuck with what i had.I was expecting a bit more from AP diesels after spending 1100 on refurbished injectors.I'm sorry for not very positive feedback but I'm very unhappy about provided service and I tried to resolve problem privately.I was going to leave one star but than I thought , customer service was pleasant so its two stars.
