A true hidden gem! Fantastic fresh and imaginative dishes, good produce, really lovely food and friendly atmosphere, always busy, staff work really hard, prices reflect the quality of the food and presentation and are really worth it for a treat or special occasion! The curry is really nice and the beef short rib is simply perfect! Drinks reasonable and well looked after beers. Always interesting specials on too!

We went for a drink and some tapas, the the food was nice, staff very friendly and nice. Would recommend it.

Had a ribeye steak. Asked for Med rare and it was well done. It was also chewy and hard to cut with a knife!I have not visited in years and also found it very run down/dirty. Men’s toilets were dirty/broken windows etc.you would get a better steak in Wetherspoons!!

Lamb was tough and took a lot of chewing and was expensive.Some staff may benefit from customer service training, being polite costs nothing but it can cost you when customers don't return!

First Xmas meal this year.Very quiet there for a Thursday which was nice as not too noisy.Turkey dinner Tasted beautiful, could of done with a little more veg. Gravy was gorgeous.Not sure how I felt about the trifle, too many berries & not enough 'trifle'.Lovely warm mince pies with coffee to finish.Excellent attentive service all the way through.Will definitely eat there again.

Clean village pub with a play area and plenty of parking.Outside seating. Food very tasty and plentiful but very, very limited vegetarian options. Very limited dessert options so declined.

Just had a fantastic meal, so good we’ve booked a table to go again in a couple of days. Hake for me and lamb chops for my wife, both from the specials board. The chips are out of this world. Service is very quick and efficient despite them being fully booked. Recommended!
