Went into store today to return the rug doctor machine after hiring it for 24hrs, wasn’t even greeted by this horrible member of staff “Carol” she made me feel so uncomfortable and clearly woke up on the wrong side of the bed, I was going to confront her but she was not worthy of an argument. Never felt so uncomfortable in a store, if she doesn’t want to work in a customer faced role then just go home. So rude, won’t be shopping at the Etruria branch again.

Good but you pay top dollar, top pound. It's good if you can't wait for Amazon and for items that are relatively inexpensive. I shop online for large, numerous items, I use B&Q if I cannot wait for delivery. Oh, also they have dramatically cut support staff so don't expect assistance or help. The standards have dropped over the years, this is probably due too online suppliers and competition from Screwfix and others, they need a management change and a better online presence or they are not going to make it, i.e. a comprehensive different approach and aggressive online business model and marketing.

Use functional DIY store, you just go there because they have what you want. The guy on the paint mixing section is very helpful and pleasant. I must say, and quite knowledgeable.

Poorly stocked. Basic items not available. Untidy and unpleasant experience. Young members of staff pushing the new 10% off club like its been the priority of the day's team briefing. Gave 2 stars as it was marginally better than homebase.

Loads of parking. Good selection of DIY items and garden supplies. The staff are lovely and friendly. If approached nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommended.

Fantastic customer support from Matt M at festival Park. Couldn't get my new hosepipe on wheels to work thought I had a missing piece. Bless him, he took one apart to show me how it was constructed. He went above and beyond.

Good found everything I needed. Only problem is the queue at the till mid day is madness. Need more tills open between 12 - 2pm
